This 59"x 168" fiberglass screen set costs more than similar sets but supplies 57% more fabric and spline. The screen is high quality, and the included tools are completely adequate for the job. I should point out that the spline included in this set is a smaller diameter than the spline used in older aluminum screens. It still works, but you may have to pinch the spline channel a bit to make it stay in place. This set is going to make a whole bunch of extra work for me because it has enough fabric and new spline in it to rescreen almost everything in the house. And all for $30. The instructions are easy to follow. It's a job even a non-handy person can do, so why not? Good material and tools. Priced right. What's not to like?

Not being very mechanical, I was hesitant to replace the screen in our sliding patio door. But I followed the directions and used the tools that are included with the screen and success! It took me longer than the advertised 10 minutes, but very satisfying to do a repair like this yourself. No more holes in my screen door!

The rating is based on the current price $30 with 50% off coupon. For this price it is really good. The kit includes everything you need to repair your screen except the frame itself. It come with a large mesh that good for multiple windows. The quality is good and seem durable. It even come with a soft ruler and cutter. The only complaint for me is it come with the large screen material fold up like newspaper indeed of rolled up like poster which the foldline will be visible for a while. But it does eventually disappear.

We needed to repair a place in a window screen so when I saw this Fiberglass Window Screen Replacement Kit (includes a Full Set of Tools), I ordered it. I saw the measurements but I didn't realize how MUCH it would be. We repaired the screen that needed it and have enough to do several more!! The fiberglass is strong and looks nice in the window. It is a darker shade, but I think we are the only ones who will notice it and that is because we know it is different! I would have preferred the screen to be rolled rather than folded to keep out the creases, but I think they will be okay. I do recommend this kit.
