If you have hardware floors, this is a great toy for your cat. It doesn't move so well on carpet. My cat was entertained every so often for a good couple of months. It's fascinating to watch the toy slither across the room. As the other reviews mentioned, this toy is great in open spaces. When there's a lot of clutter, it will get stuck and I'd have to move it away. Assembling the toy was a breeze. It was like a rudimentary puzzle, clicking a few pieces. Charging it was easy too. For the value, I think it's worth the purchase.

My cats were thoroughly uninterested in this, which was surprising since one of them is interested in murdering everything including her own tail. That said, I kept it around for a few days just to see if at some point things would change. I *really* wanted them to like this!! As other people have noted, this does not work on carpet. At all. In any way. It also does not work on the transition pieces between rooms on tile and hardwood floors. It just gets stuck and makes a loud and annoying noise until it dies. Which it did. Like 3 days later it just stopped charging and moving. Fully dead, wouldn’t switch on or off and wouldn’t charge. Wouldn’t suggest you buy this.

My 1 year old maine coon was loving this thing until the wheels got tangled in his tail sending him into a panic slamming the snake against the wall trying to get away. Thankfully I was able to grab him before he got any further and got the snake off. That being said this toy is actually super cool and works really well! Had it not got stuck in his tail he’d prob be playing with it right now and I’d be leaving high praises. Awesome toy awesome price but don’t get for your long haired cat that could have been a nightmare if I wasn’t around

I really like this toy for my cats. They mostly just watch it with interest, but will occasionally tap it with a paw when it's in hibernation mode. The movement is surprisingly life like. My only complaint is that the toy seems to be attracted to places it gets stuck. It wedges it's head under the fridge and dishwasher. It gets stuck under the couch and on carpet. When that happens, the wheels just spin nosily until it goes back into hibernation mode or I move it. I am going to try to put guards around my appliances and furniture to see if it improves the experience (me not having to constantly move it).

This is such a cute little toy! Our cat Luca loves it, although at first was a little scared! Learned quickly when it goes to ‘sleep’ he just has to touch it with his paw to get it moving again! The sensors and lighting up eyes and hissing sound all add to the intrigue for him.🐍 Is it worth the money? Well probably not because it’s just plastic but at least on Amazon it’s $19.99 with free shipping and free return. On their website it’s $34.95 plus shipping so everything is relative. I have gotten more expensive toys for my cat with less of a response so I would say go for it! It’s really a very clever toy. UPDATE: Somehow, this toy came apart (it’s in three parts) and one part got stuck on my long haired cat while lighting up and hissing. He ran around hoping for it to fall off. I had to take it off him. He was terrified and runs away from it ever since (several months). I’ve tried reintroducing it to him but he remembers immediately. So, if you have a long haired cat I would not recommend it even though it is a very cute toy.

Cats like it- for sure. But the charge doesnt last too long and it gets stuck alot. The sensors are supposed to help it back up and go in a diff direction if it's hitting a wall, but often it doesnt- it just tries and tries to go thru the wall or under the cabinet and so then the cats cant play with it and it wears out the battery. If not for that, I'd give it 4 stars.

I purchased this snake for my grandson . He's 6 years old and he loves it. This toys isn't cheaply made, its easy to put together. Simply snap it together, charge it and watch your child's face light up, as it moves. I would definitely recommend 👌 💜🪱 this toy snake.

The media could not be loaded. The toy works well after one charge, when it hits the wall though it tends to get stuck. I saw a tik tok video of these cats loving it so I thought mines would too. They both are so scared of it 😂. Wouldn’t get near it. Jumped a lot. One of my cats even jumped on my back and I got kind of scratched she was so afraid of it lol. Not for your cats if they’re weenies like mines! I have electronic mouse toys that they love to chase, but I guess since they’re tiny unlike the snake which might be scarier to them haha
