I needed a big saw to maximize my firewood gathering to include trunk logs of big oak trees. Hated leaving trunks, and my smaller 18" stihl couldn't handle them. Took the chance on this beast w 25" bar, and so far(2 tanks of 30/1 fuel @ half throttle for break in) i am very happy. It starts right up everytime, warms easily, and at break in use cuts hard a#$ed red and white oak like warm butter. Planning a 36" bar & chain later for milling use. Even if it holds up for long term, can't give it 5 stars due to obvious "low price clone" issues, like no assembly instructions(figured it out, and all screws/parts were included), out of box carburetor adjustment needed(idled too high, easy fix), silly paper stickers on plastic casing that fell off during cleaning after 1st use. I highly recommend this saw for anyone who knows saws and how to care for them, needs a big one on a budget, and isn't bothered by the idea of a oriental clone of American quality(even the manual is a direct clone of Stihl 660, with all references to the word "Stihl" being white outed). Sure can't beat the value, and as stated, time will tell. ... show more

this is a great saw, it has a lot of power, a little slow starting when cold, but after being started it lights back up with one pull. I would buy it again, and I would tell others to buy it.. It is well worth the money.

Definitely exceeded my expectations. Its a powerful heavy saw and likes to guzzle fuel. BUT it has not let me down once in the past 2 months of using it every weekend. The chain that came with mine was decent. It’s in rotation with my full skip chisel chains now. Glad I took the chance on it.

    • i like how powerful saw is , Do not like hard starting when cold
saw is very powerful . always have to pull plug and heat it on first start of day, floods on 1 pull with choke on . have used about a gallon of fuel, had problems with chain brake not staying un locked .
