I purchased this set of millennium stainless steel nonstick cookware to update/supplement my existing cookware, which had dwindled down to the last several pieces remaining from the same exact 10 piece Farberware set of the same variety, given to me over two decades ago as a housewarming gift for my first place when I moved away from home after graduating high school. Honestly, the only reasons I needed to replace components of the first set can be boiled down to youth and inexperience: some pieces were lost and one piece was damaged by the kind of abuse that a pan could only suffer at the hands of an unsupervised novice cook. My new set arrived glistening, well-packed, in pristine condition, and ready for action. Very little has changed in the design over 20 years, which means the new set can be easily blended with old; the old lids fit the new pans perfectly and vice versa. Faberware’s consistency also rings true for quality, as each piece is thoughtfully designed, well-constructed from solid materials, cooks evenly, cleans-up with ease, and displays nicely when in use and when racked. Guests who watch me cook almost always compliment my pans and those who use the pans themselves compliment them without fail. Addressing common complaints from negative reviews, these are like any other objects one can own - they require proper care for longevity. Read the instructions and warnings that come in the box. Common sense and I both recommend hand washing with soft sponge/dishrag only (no Brillo, etc), towel drying. Because low cupboards are places where so much is stored but so little patience is afforded, storing cookware on a rack is a great way to avoid clutter from banging them up. Also, despite what the video may say, metal utensils should never be used with nonstick cookware. This is a beautiful investment for any kitchen and a practical choice for every day use. Seeing my new and old pieces side-by-side shows how very well these pots, pans, and lids stand the test of time and explains why I’m unlikely to ever need to purchase another set of cookware for domestic purposes again. I recently purchased a ceramic glass top stove and had the HARDEST time finding just the right cookware to use on it. There were so many do's and don'ts on what to use and not to use on it. Ugh! I've always had good results with Farberware and have been looking forever to find just the right set. I found it in the Millennium Stainless Steel Nonstick set. This set is perfect and comes with a lifetime limited warranty as well! It's extremely difficult to find that combo of stainless steel AND nonstick together! The price was reasonable, too. It has only cookware and not all the other trivial objects that come with some other sets like cookie sheets, spatulas, spoons, etc. All I needed was cookware and that's exactly what this set provided. I've used several pieces many times on my ceramic glass top with absolutely NO problems at all! It's super! Even though the handles do not have a grip on them, they do not get hot. At least that's been my experience. It's recommended to not use metal since the surface is nonstick. It says it's dishwasher and oven safe, but I would not do that. I wash them in warm soapy water by hand with a special scrubber that's safe for nonstick cookware. As a side note, I was always spraying my pots and pans with Pam or some other type spray, but you do not have to do that with these. I was very reluctant to not spray the skillet first, but I scrambled my eggs and cooked other stuff without the spray (as recommended) and nothing stuck! It was awesome! I had purchased a Faberwaer Millennium set with a non stick surface in 1990. I loved it and used it to the point that the non stick coating was coming off and getting into cooked food. Time to replace!!!. Because non stick coatings are pretty much toxic, I opted to go with the stainless steel without any coatings. Having loved my previous Faberware cookware I went right back to that brand. I read the various reviews and some of the complaints/problems with it looking discolored after a short time of use concerned me. So I researched the higher end brands and read all the info on how to best clean/care and cook with stainless steel. After receiving my set, I read the instructions that came with it and pretty much followed the recommendations of using white distilled vinegar to clean the spots and it looks great after about of month of use (and I am a cook who really uses by cookware). The quality, weight of the set and just the great look of it are exactly what I wanted. Why pay more? I have used all the pieces and while the skillets are a bit smaller than my previous Faberware and the large 8 quart stock pot is taller and less wide, l found that everything fit into the space where I kept my other set of cookware. And a nice plus is that the lid to the large stock pot fits the large skillet if needed. Bottom line, I think this set is quality at a reasonable price. Very happy with my purchase. ... show more

My first stainless steel cookware set. budget choice! decent quality. If you never tried stainless pot before, start with this set. After you become a master, buy those expensive ones. This is definitely a good choice for starters. Only complain is the whole set is a little bit small on size. Not easy to cook meals for more than 2 adults. ... show more

Great price for a beginner stainless steel cookware set. Excellent shape (tulip shaped) and a decent size for a family of 3-4, the quality is good for a regular use. Medium to low heat cooking works well. Easy to clean and use.
