Besides being drop dead, gorgeous, this pot is constructed very well. The enamel job is great on both the inside and outside. The lid fits perfectly and is also enamel inside and out. I received this soup pot when I expected to. It is exactly as pictured and described. I would have chosen a different color, if it had been an option, but that is just my personal preference. It is nice an big, heavy duty, but not so heavy that you can't lift it when it is full. It cleans up easily and nicely. The lid fits well and I have not had any chipping of the enamel so far. Now this was the most needed purchase I actually made. It is an amazing size and the product was made very well. I do believe that this pot is going to not just last longer than other pots , but also get used a lot because it is the right size for so many things.

Update #2 - I had to update the review again because the finish on this pot is falling apart all over. I have only used it about 5 times and it is now failing to the point I won't be able to use it anymore. The new spot inside is flaking off if you barely touch it so I can't take the chance of contamination. I would not purchase again, find another option if you are looking for a pot like this. I am shocked at the lack of quality from a known brand. Update #1 **So I still love this pot however, I have discovered a flaw. There is a spot on the inside of the pot where the finish has failed. It has exposed the metal beneath the finish and I'm sure it will grow with use. ** Original review....Who says pots can't be pretty??? This one is beautiful and functional too!! ... show more
