For a kids scooter, I thought this was very well constructed, almost like the full sized scooters I use. I own about three electric scooters and my little nephew always wants to ride them. As a kid's size, the deck is narrow and the bar is height adjustable. It doesn't go as high but it's high enough for even an adult to use though they just have to slightly bend down to hold the handles. There's very little assembly required - it came with a torque driver to screw the bar to the deck. The scooter turns on and off with a button along with the lighting button which you press to cycle through the patterns and colors.The RGB light adds the lighting good for visibility in the evenings. The tires are made of rubber, which is ideal for being able to absorb bumpy roads. It rides pretty smooth with a max speed of 10mph, giving you the option to go at slower max speeds which are great if there's lots of traffic around. The charging port is located on the handle, which appears to be too high, I would have preferred it closer to the ground so on the deck perhaps. Other than that, this is a really awesome scooter for kids. The 5 miles range and 10mph max is good enough to ride around for fun or to commute to school. This is our first experience with an electric scooter which we ordered for our grandkids to use. The younger ones are absolutely thrilled with it and we may have to order a couple more so they’re all able to ride together and we can avoid the arguments! The scooter is well-made and is adjustable for our young ones ranging in age from 4 to 11 years old. We live in the mountains and the scooter seems to have no problems with the hills or the dirt roads and I like that it will not go too fast just for that reason. The running lights are a really nice touch, even in low traffic, the kids are pretty visible when riding. Kiddos love this scooter! It doesn't go too insanely fast, but i prefer that as theres less chance of them getting hurt. They just go around the block anyways, when they're older i might buy them a faster one. It holds their weight well, and the battery lasts long enough for them to have a solid play session out of it. When its collapsed, you have to be very careful to extend it all the way. A couple of times the kiddos didn't realize it wasn't fully extended and secure, and it collapsed on them. My kids love scooters so I decided to upgrade to an electric one. I was not disappointed. I was a bit nervous but the max speed on this is not very high. They very quickly figured out how to use it. We rode it first before letting them ride it and it is very easy to control. You have to manually ride it until you hit 3 miles per hour, then you can turn on the motor. This way there is no rough start or jerk. It is very smooth. Turning is easy and the wheels are better than standard scooters. I highly recommend it! ... show more

We picked this scooter up for our daughter as she has outgrown her small kick powered scooter and wanted to ride with mom and dad. She absolutely loves this scooter! It has three customizable speed settings (Economy, Normal, and Sport) with a max speed of 10 MPH. The LCD lights on the side are capable of displaying a solid color, a rainbow, or my daughter's favorite the scrolling rainbow which looks really cool. The speedometer is bright and easy to read. My only complaint is that a handbrake would be easier to use for most than the rear wheel foot brake. That said, a rear foot brake is also traditional for scooters so some might feel this is more typical. A great choice! ... show more

Really nice starter escooter. Battery life, speed and range will depend on weight. The lighter you are the more you get, the heaver the less you get. Overall, the design is great, this is a beginner escooter that doesn't go too fast and gets you where you need to go in light up style.
