This buffet turned out to be such a great purchase for us. We were looking for extra storage in the kitchen, a place to store our small appliances and to make a coffee bar. In this pic, the room is still under remodeling but I thought it might help you see the size. We added the pegboard backing to give more stability and to allow for hanging utensils, and we added a power station so all the appliances can be plugged in. Honestly this thing is incredible, especially for the price. My home was built in the 60’s so the kitchen is a good size, but the area we placed this cabinet was supposed to be for a table (which is silly, there’s literally an entire room dedicated to dining mere inches away, it’s called the dining room). We have no pantry, this cabinet replaced two white cabinets I also purchased on Amazon but ended up being comically small. It fits my coffee maker, my mixer, my microwave, the space this thing has opened up in my kitchen is incredible. It’s like IKEA furniture, it falls somewhere in between Target and IKEA in quality. Not Walmart, that stuff is deplorable. It took a good amount of my day to assemble. I broke into a sweat. I also ended up having to maneuver it from the dining room into the kitchen, so I would advise you assemble the cabinet in the space you will have it as to avoid having to lift it. You assemble the top part first and then eventually lift it onto the bottom section, this is 1,000% a two person job. I did most of the assembly but by the end I was so burnt out (and I LOVE assembling furniture) I’m glad my husband stepped in to help with the doors The doors. THE DOORS. That has to be my only complaint on this thing. The doors are a pain in the ass to align. My husband got them to look pretty good but it should not have been that hard. Just remember, there is a screw on each hinge that you can adjust so you can adjust how the doors sit and align. This is the kind of stuff they should be teaching in school. Taxes, debt, how to align a cabinet door. In conclusion, this cabinet kicks ass, 100% worth the purchase. It is temporary and once we eventually remodel the kitchen, this piece will find its way into the garage to be used for storage. ... show more

this was a huge undertaking to put together, and it requires a lot of attention to detail in order for it to look exactly like the picture. We weren’t able to get the doors to perfectly align, but it can probably be done with enough patience
