I purchased this catio with extra tubes for outdoor use. A neighbor‘s large cat got in it, when I wasn’t using it for my cat. When I went out to get the cat out, he became frightened, running to the cube at the end of the tubes. When he couldn’t get out, the cat began to jump up on the walls of the cube desperate to find a way out. One of its claws got caught in the mesh wall of the cube as it struggled, causing the cube to wildly bounce around on my concrete patio and hit some large potted plants . The cat had to force his claw out of the mesh wall of the cube, and finally ran out the end of an open tube. I thought there would be damage to the mesh walls, but to my surprise, the mesh fabric was not damaged at all. If you’re looking for a well-made durable product, this is the one. ... show more

So Amazon sent me a returned item that didn’t include the tunnel, and the cube was all messed up, the bag was dirty as well. Clearly a return. The seller was able to send me a new tunnel and cube. My cat absolutely LOVES this. Especially when I put in a bunch of the plastic springs and shut the sides most of the way. He goes absolutely crazy with those springs. I have this set up in my house, but also bring it outside so he can enjoy the outdoor enrichment while I WFH. Well built, size is great. I have an oriental short hair cat, so he’s very tall, and he fits great. It looks sleek and modern. Zippers are well built as well. ... show more

Cats enjoy the tunnels but they can’t be used outdoors because they don’t have end caps. Just open ended tunnels. I assumed they would allow me to use them as playpens outside with one cat in each as we travel. RV has limited storage so we need something compact. These would be perfect if I could seal them in. ... show more

I have been skeptical about products that could give my cats a safe place to play outside but this was even better quality than I expected. I use it only for cats and they love hanging out in it. I can see how this one would give even small dog owners a way to let pets enjoy some fresh air while containing them and keeping them from wandering. We did buy and another small playpen part so we could put it together as two separate playpen (medium with small pen and large with small pen). Seems pretty durable. I like that there’s some built in shade. It’s super convenient that you can put the pieces together however you want without having to worry about which side the zipper is on. I do think it’s a bit difficult to fold the biggest “room” up but I’m sure I’ll get better with practice. ... show more
