This expandable garden hose is a convenient solution for outdoor watering and cleaning tasks. Weighing just five pounds, it's a third (or less) of what a 100-foot rubber garden hose typically weighs. This lightweight design makes it easier to maneuver around the yard and more convenient to store away. Made from double-layered latex, it has brass fittings and an on/off valve for added convenience. The hose starts at a compact 33 feet but expands to just under 100 feet when the water is turned on, and shrinks back down to 33 feet when the water is turned off, allowing quick and easy storage. This hose comes with a 10-function spray nozzle that can be switched from a light mist to a more powerful stream as needed. The nozzle feels well-built, screws on easily, and the various spray patterns work as expected. The expandable design, lightweight portability, and versatile nozzle make this hose ideal for watering a large garden or other outdoor areas, while eliminating the frustrations of rubber hoses that frequently tangle or kink. It's a pretty nice expandable hose. It's really light weight, like maybe a fifth or less compared to a rubber hose of the same length. It's also a lot more flexible and kink resistant. I can store the entire thing is a small plastic bucket near the faucet rather than use a hose reel. It expands several times in length when water is pumped through it and it can hold pressure up to 100 PSI, as I have some faucets without a regulator. With normal 40 PSI water it also delivers excellent water spray strength. It's generally quite good, but it also has inherent issues. The woven sleeve protects against scrapes, but catches a bit on most everything and turns fuzzy reel quick. It also doesn't protect against punctures like with thorns or pointy things on the ground so be careful when you try to drag it by pulling, as that will further stress the rubbery inner tube. I had to replace these expandable hoses once every season or two from leaks but I just found out they have these adapters that can fix poked portions of the hose which should make them more affordable to use.

This hose seems to be well made, using good materials and brass fittings. The spray nozzle has a lot of useful options. My husband likes that it can take the place of two 50 ft. hoses, with less weight, and that convenience is appreciated. Having it expand and retract, which it does well, makes it take less storage room. If on a hose stand when the water is turned on, it will slither off. Thank you for reading my review. This is a very lite expandable hose with brass fittings. It appears to be very nicely protected and it does expand to slightly over 100 feet as stated. Overall, a good quality hose.

This is a very nice hose. It comes in a pretty box, but is also enclosed in a nice drawstring bag which you can use for future storage. It seems to be well made with no rough spots or poor manufacturing. Overall, it gives an impression of quality. These expandable hoses are remarkable. I got this one in the longest length I could find. It should easily reach across the yard to the farthest side of the garden. It includes a multi-setting sprayer head and extra washers. These hoses are very lightweight, easy to store and almost impossible to kink or damage since they are flexible to start with.

Jut received this and won't be able to test it for awhile until spring arrives in Maine. The brass fittings look well machined though and I am very pleased with how light and compact it is. I am so tired of dragging around heavy hose and have been jealous of my neighbor's hose like this!
