I have gone through so many different garden hoses trying to find one I like, and so far, this one is at the top of the list. I live in Phoenix, so our summers are extreme, and during the winter we have nights that get to freezing and sometimes below. So, old fashioned vinyl hoses don’t last long—especially if they get a lot of direct sunlight during the summer. My “non-kink” expandable hose comes in at number two on the list, except, not long ago, I accidentally chopped a slash into it with the hedge clippers, so it sprays out all over me with the slightest pressure. So, I thought I’d try this one. I've been using it for about a month, and it's working great so far. It’s still winter at the time of this review, and I’ll be interested to see how hot this thing gets in mid-July. It may be unusable during the day (unless I wear oven mitts to pick it up). Why I like it: It doesn’t kink, it’s easy to coil and store, I won’t be able to accidentally hack into it, and it’s easy to fling and drag around while watering. When I’m not using it, I coil it inside of a large empty flower pot. I don’t need to fight to coil it because it practically coils itself when I drop it down inside the pot. It’s lightweight, which contributes to its ease of use, yet it also feels sturdy and durable enough to last through a few summers. But, again, it remains to be seen how well it holds up in our extreme temperatures. So far, I don’t have any complaints. It’s working great. But if it doesn’t make it through the first summer, I’ll post an update to this review. Right now--a solid five stars. ... show more

I recently ordered this Metal Garden Hose 25FT, 304 Stainless Steel Garden Hose with 3/4" Fittings, and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed! When I first ordered it, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but it has exceeded my expectations in every way. One of the first things that struck me was the high-quality look and feel of this hose. It's not only sturdy but surprisingly flexible as well. With proper care, I can see this hose being highly resistant to kinking, which is a common issue with garden hoses and why I seem to go through so many of them trying to find the right hose. The end fittings are beautifully machined and thread smoothly, giving me confidence in their durability. What surprised me even more was how lightweight this stainless steel hose is despite its robust appearance. It feels like a length of armored cable, yet it's remarkably easy to handle. Plus, it's competitively priced, much less than a comparable steel-clad hose I saw at my local hardware store. The hose is securely swaged to the solid brass fittings, and it even includes plastic kink protectors threaded over the swage onto the back of the fittings. While the inside diameter of the hose fittings is about 5/16 inch, which may not be considered a high-flow hose, it moves water well. I found that it shoots a 5/16 column of water about 25 to 30 feet, making it perfect for use with a hose-end spray nozzle. In terms of performance, it has been nothing short of fantastic. No kinking issues, impressive flexibility, and no tangles to deal with. It has made watering my garden a breeze. I can easily store it in a bucket when not in use. It just falls neatly into place. I have high hopes for this stainless steel garden hose. If you're in the market for a reliable and well-crafted hose that delivers on its promises, I highly recommend giving this one a try. ... show more

1-18-24 I love these hoses, I ordered this one for extra length needed to our existing one. I've only found 1 minor gripe, I would prefer if the textured collar on the male end, (where you attach your own sprayer), was a bit wider making it easier to grasp for weak or smaller hands, at its current size you have to use fingertips or some pliers. This is the easiest hose I've ever used, and I've had many many many over the years claiming all the things we wished they actually did. Well this does what you want it to do and does it without leaking. Heads up here! If you turn the water on full blast, without having some type of sprayer attached, the end will flop around wildly similar to an unmanned fire hose. - It only weighs a little over 2-3/4 pounds, and easy to hold in one hand. A great option for general purpose use in an RV not potable water. - It doesn't kink, and you'd actually have to tie it in a knot to get it to tangle. - The metal casing is similar to a metal handheld shower hose, making it easy to glide over rocks and other obstacles. - It's compact and only takes about 1/3 the space a traditional garden hose of the same length. - it's easy to wield around and manage, unlike a traditional or flat hose, and it stays flexible in the cold, well at least in our mild cold evenings at 38⁰ Fahrenheit. - The easiest hose I've ever coiled up, whether it be on one hand, (which is doable if you have medium to large hands), or into a pot. I can say this is the 1st hose that actually gets coiled back up every time because it's easy. I think this would also work well on a reel. - It doesn't crush when you step on it, although I haven't yet ran it over with my dually truck while it's against concrete or a rock to see if that does crush it. - This has standard garden hose ends, not any adapters as another one I had similar to this one which always leaked at those areas. This one doesn't leak. - The outside diameter of the metal casing is a bit larger than a Sharpie marker. The inside hose diameter is around 3/8". I haven't noticed any low pressure while hooked up to both my, home use, gas and electric power washers, nor when used with my spray nozzles. Although I wouldn't necessarily want to fill my 8000 gallon pool, not that it can't do it, it would just take longer. In case you don't read the instructions, you'll initially, meaning one time before use, need to stretch it out, hook it to your spigot and have the other end closed off with let's say your sprayer, allow it to fill with water pressure to initially stretch the inner hose. Release the pressure and it's ready for use. So far I'm happy with it and believe you will be also. Hopefully this was helpful, Thank you! ... show more
