    • Finally a strong and long lasting hose!
Glad to find a 12 ft. of this steel hose. Have seen it mostly in 8 ft. Needed longer ones to connect together to reach the back part of my yard where I need to water more frequently. This is very durable and easy to attach to the other steel hoses I've purchased. the male and female connectors are tight and so far no leaks. It is also easy to attach and unattach with the black thick grips on each end. Was a not sure if they would attach and not leak, yet, ALL IS GOOD! I'm going to get more for presents for my hard to buy for family members with gardens and love to wash their cars. Do recommend! ... show more

    • Never going back to a rubber hose
I upgraded my frequently used hoses to these stainless steel hoses about a year ago, and I will never go back. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to coil up a hose that just doesnt want to cooporate. And if it's cold out, a stubborn hose is impossible to get straight. These hoses are strong, don't leak, and never kink. They will always coil back up easily. Perfect. The only disadvantage is that they aren't typically sold in longer lengths, so linking a few together is needed if you want to get further out. I picked up this new hose to do just that, and so far it has worked just as my older hoses have. I'm glad I picked it up ... show more

    • Nice light duty hose
This is a light weight, well made hose with brass fittings. The inside diameter is smaller than premium high capacity hoses. The hose comes with 3 extra washers and a roll of teflon tape. It's great for low stress applications. I like the flexible stainless steel jacket, but it would be susceptible to damage in situations that rubber hoses would survive. For example, if a heavy object fell on it or if it were run over by a vehicle, the jacket could be dented or irreparably crushed. I don't know how well this hose would tolerate being subject to stretching forces that it could encounter if it were part of a much longer hose assembly. I'm using the this hose to replace a section of rubber hose that raccoons destroyed in a temporary sprinkler set up. It's perfectly fine for this application and should be raccoon proof. ... show more

    • Nice garden hose
If you need a short length of durable garden hose (for example inside of greenhouse), this one is a solid value. First of all it has brass fittings! No plastic or aluminum! You want brass for trouble-free connections to your house or garden spigots, which are also brass. The hose itself is clad in stainless steel (which I'm assuming is 304) so there shouldn't be any issues with corrosion. While the cladding looks solid, it can be crushed, so you have to be careful with the hose. I'll avoid running it over with a heavy laden wheelbarrow, for example. The hose came with two extra washers and a spool of pipe tape (I probably won't use that). Overall I'm happy with this hose, I expect it to last a long time. ... show more

    • Sturdy Non-Leaking Hose
There are two main reasons that I wanted this hose. One was the metal outside, to keep it from kinking and 'collapsing.' You know, when you have the hose in the sun and then move it how it gets soft and folds and restricts water. That's what I mean about collapsing. This hose will not do that. The other reason is a connector that DOESN'T leak. I currently have a hose that claimed to be "the last hose you'll ever need." That is a false statement. It actually leaks more at the faucet than other cheaper rubber hoses. I expect this host to last a long time and am so far entirely pleased. ... show more

    • Third set..!!
I absolutely love this hose. I own two other 8 foot hose and was on the fence when they arrived. They were very light and I didn’t think I would like them. I was wrong, I absolutely love them. I loved them so much I went ahead and got a third, a 12 foot. I wish they had an even longer one but I just attached one of the 8 foot and now I have one extra long 20 Foot hose. The best feature about this hose is obviously the weight but what I love the most is that it’s virtually impossible to tangle. If you get any twist of any kind, this thing practically unwinds itself. Five stars for sure. ... show more

    • no kink no collapse
I use a hose to wash my boat hull. How ever My water source is the pump that feeds the lawn sprinkler system. I discovered since I don't have the same pressure as my house water - that if a regular hose is used and it kinks even a little - then no water. Next I tried a hose- the type that shrinks when you turn the water off -- and oops. not enough pressure to expand it enough to get adequate spray. SO this hose is the answer to low pressure - The stainless won't collapse or kink. Don't leave your aluminum spray nozzle on the brass fittings over the winter - as the dissimilar metals will weld themselves together. ... show more

    • Perfect Hose - use the Tape on the threads!
I have several of these in various lengths from various vendors and they are all pretty much identical. They do not kink and are easy to manage and put away. The only thing I would advise strongly is that you use the tape around the threads or it might seize up if you have hard water. Fantastic design and worth it! ... show more
