I've recently switched over to stainless steel cookware and it is a learning curve! But so worth it. First, I love the feel of a 'professional kitchen'. This set does not disappoint in the looks department. Now I'll need to get a potholder just to show these off. Second, you don't have to worry about any contaminants in your food. California is moving towards removing non-stick, so at 50% off right now, you might want to jump on this set. Third, it literally has every piece you could need, plus matching lids! This last weekend we stayed at an airBnB, and they had a similar namebrand set. We had the worst experience with the set there, they would not clean for anything! I looked them up, and they ran $600! The funny thing is that this EFWEN set cleans up amazingly, no issue at all. Also, I read that the key is letting the pan heat up first, before you add in anything like oil. You want to be able to dance water on the top first, that instant boiling point. To clean, you can use a rag or even something abrasive to really scrub, but I haven't found that necessary. There are acids you can use, baking soda or lemon juice to clean with also. Bartender's Friend is a great one. I'm going to be using it continuously because I want to keep the silver finish instead of the slightly tarnished look if you don't clean off the oil. They do scratch, but it adds to the well-used and loved look. People talk about splitting up the set because it's so big, but no way, I'm keeping every one of these, my new babies! The old non-stick set is moving to the RV!

Amazing and well made. This set was a wonderful surprise of high quality and versatile cookware. The set includes every piece that I need for cooking large or small meals. Some of the lids fit well on more than one pan. The handles are designed to be cool when cooking. The pans are heavy weight and sturdy. The rivets are tight and nicely finished. Each of the pans is triple layer and does a great job of quickly absorbing and evenly distributing heat. I was especially happy that they are induction compatible since I have an induction stove top. The steamer insert in the Dutch oven is handy for cooking and draining pasta and some larger vegetables. I especially like it for blanching vegetables since it allows me to quickly remove them from the hot water and cool before they are cooked too much. I have found that if soaked in water this cleans quickly and easily even without a non-stick surface. Of course, it is dishwasher safe. I have not yet put any of the saute pans in the oven to use under the broiler. I am a little concerned that with a max temp of 500 degrees, there may be a problem. I have had a set of AllClad cookware for 20+ years and this set rivals it in quality and usefulness. The AllClad cost as much per pan as this whole set does. I wish I had had this set years ago.

It is hard to argue with 3-ply stainless steel cookware with riveted handles—not just hard, pointless! This 17-piece set has everything one could possibly need to cook nearly anything—saucepans, skillets, sauté and stockpots, all with snug-fitting lids. I’ve cooked with various pieces of 3-ply cookware over the years, but it’s wonderful to finally have a complete, cohesive set that performs beautifully across the board. Each piece has an aluminum core fully encapsulated between layers of stainless steel—an ideal combination for even heat distribution without hot spots. The inner cooking surface is non-reactive 18/10 stainless steel, so it won’t affect the taste or color of foods, while the exterior is magnetic 18/0 stainless steel, making it compatible with induction cooktops as well as gas and electric. The riveted handles are sturdy and stay relatively cool during stovetop use, and the rolled rims make pouring clean and easy. These pans can take the heat—literally—rated oven-safe to 500°F and dishwasher safe for convenience. They’re also free of PFOA, PTFE, and PFOS coatings, which means you’re cooking on pure metal, not chemicals. Once you get the knack of proper preheating and oiling, even eggs release easily, proving that stainless steel can be “nonstick” when treated right.

I purchased the EWFEN 17-piece stainless steel cookware set to upgrade my kitchen, and it’s been a solid addition overall. The set includes frying pans, saucepans, a sauté pan, and a stockpot, all of which are induction compatible and oven safe, which is very convenient. The 3-ply construction heats evenly and helps prevent hot spots while cooking, which I noticed immediately when making sauces and searing meat. I also appreciate that the stainless steel interior makes it easy to monitor browning without worrying about scratching a nonstick coating. The lids fit well, and the handles stay relatively cool, even when simmering for a longer period.
