Okay, so I received the Eversolo DMP-A6 Master Gen2 and I love the sound. If it wasn't for the crappy app I would give 5 stars. Since yesterday I installed it on my Lenovo tablet, but it kept crashing and giving errors that it's not connecting. Then it connects, but crashes. So I reinstall and get the same thing. So I install it on my Motorola G5 and I get that same error. It works better, but still sucks. I get a black screen a lot of times. Or it just locks up. FIX THE APP PEOPLE. The DMP-A6 has updated twice in less than 24 hours of use.

It sounds great/has a lot of functionality/capability. :) I find the interface/phone app to be very frustrating and not at all logical :( I'm sure over time I will figure it out/get used to it. But after a couple of hours I still have the "What happened/why did it do that?" Maybe have actual humans attempt to use it before finalizing the interface would have been a good idea. ;)

This device does not support Spotify Connect Lossless nor AirPlay 2 in lossless. In order to archive lossless play. User has to use the app on the screen, The APP is in desktop mode in tiny 6" display. So disappointed. Also HTMI, Bluetooth, Optical, Coaxial will not display VU meter , content info or Spectrum analyzer. Will not recommended to anyone for streaming music

Eversolo's software development needs a lot of work. Spotify app maxes out at 96kbps streaming, their forum has multiple people asking about the timeline for updating the Connect app for lossless. Compatibility seems for these functions are being ignored despite raising them both publicly and privately. This isn't just limited to the A6, but also their A8 and A10. Lossless has been out for a month but they won't even acknowledge or address how they're going to handle it when their competitors and other manufacturers have already updated for this connectivity. If you plan to market yourself as a "Hi-Fi" music streamer, maybe have something more than 96kbps as the only bitrate option.

Died in less than 2 months. Brand new. Still waiting to hear back from Eversolo. Luckily I bought on Amazon and Amazon Customer Service immediately helped me get a refund. While it is awesome. It needs frequent restarts. It gets quite annoying. It doesn’t auto switch inputs as seamlessly as my bluesound. Frankly a major paint point for me as I constantly have to tech support it for my family. I wish it just worked. Too bad, for such a technically excellent product.
