My unit arrived in a damaged box - The unit definitely was poorly packed and was missing the all of the nuts/bolts to assemble it. The manufacturer was good about sending me the missing stuff quickly. Assembling the unit was a real PITA - I had to drill out some bolt holes as the ones provided did not line up properly. One finally assembled, I found that the burner was awesome and generated an incredible amount of very controllable heat that heated up a very large pot of water to cook crawfish, shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes for a fun fest. Bottom line - If you receive a kit that is messed up to begin with, save yourself allot of time and aggravation by returning it for an exchange.

03-23-18: received replacement parts via UPS, looking forward to using this product. I’ll update again after getting the new parts on! I received yet another email 9:32 offering to fix the issue at hand. The customer service I’ve been shown via Simon, has been 5 Star and EXCELLENT. Thank you for making this situation painless moving forward. Received an email at 6:10 apologizing for the earlier communication and agreed to fix the regulator issue. I really appreciate the fact that they reach out, after looking into the phone number issue. I will continue to update the review as needed. I called the customer service number, only to be told “call back tomorrow, we closed”. Tried to resolve the issue before leaving a review. The burner itself is built well and holds a lot of weight, however, something may be wrong with the regulator. I used a brand new, un-opened propane tank and could not get optimal heat/flame coming from within. I changed tanks and O2 adjustments, without success. Purchase at your own risk. Also, if your closed, don’t answer the phone.

I like the burner. It was the only heavy duty wide-burner I could find. I use it to for cooking with a wide paella pan. Other than the regulator, it’s solid. My issues were: 1. The flames were really small. I had to use compressed air to blow out each gas port and hose fittings. It worked well after that. 2. The gas regulator know feels cheap. It’s difficult to get to the perfect flow. 3. The big label on the side immediately burned and was a sticky mess to remove. 4. The protective cap on the regulator hose end had been smashed enough that it punched a hole in the plastic, plugging the hose. I had to dig out the plastic. Like other reviews mentioned, mine needed a long burn to get rid of the unpleasant smell.

Well I haven't been able to use it yet. Because when I received this product, the package looked good on the out side. When I opened the box all the Styrofoam to cushion the burner was all torn up. And the orifice that was attached to the end of the burner was broken off. I would have thought that the shipper would have so put the orifice in the bags of screws or something so you can install it when you receive it instead of putting it on the end of the Brenner which weigh a lot. And and prone to have it broken off during shipment. The product itself looks really well built. Solid Construction. If it wasn't for the broken orifice I would have recommend this product to everyone. But due to the fact it was broken when they received it I would have to look for a new part or return the whole thing before I can finish my review of this product.
