  • Fast easy and accurate
It was easy to use, results in less days than they promised! Less expensive than a local lab. Will definitely use these again.

  • Terrifyingly inaccurate
I bought this test to do at home within hours of also taking a test at the doctor's office. I wanted to compare results to see how reliable this test was so that I could later use it to keep a better eye on my cholesterol levels in-between annual physicals. I received my results from my doctor a week ago and they were almost exactly what they were last year showing that my cholesterol is holding fairly steady. I received my Everlywell results today, (about 5 days later than the doctor owing to the need to ship samples). Everlywell shows that my triglycerides are 3, almost 4 times higher than my doctor says they are. With such different results, I have to believe that my doctor's results are more accurate- not just because they showed the better number, but because the samples were taken by a trained professional, processed right away instead of sitting in the mail, not exposed to any of the heat or cold they may have experienced in the mail, and also because they are so similar to what they were last year and I don't believe a hospital lab would make nearly the exact same mistake with the same patient two years in a row. Had I gotten the Everlywell results before my doctor's, I would be terrified of that number. According to my doctor, my triglycerides are fantastic. Everlywell's 3, almost 4 times higher number makes it look like I am a heart attack waiting to happen. I won't buy this test again. Even if they only make a mistake on 1 in every 1000 tests, even if the mistake is user error, such inaccurate results can have dangerous results when it comes to someone's health- if not in their cholesterol then in the mental health toll of being scared such inaccuracies are true. If you are worried about your cholesterol in-between physicals, ask your doctor for another test. If you don't have a regular doctor, ask an urgent care doctor. ... show more

  • Accurate test.
My doctor verified the accuracy of the test. It's worth the money if you are monitoring your cholesterol.

  • Worst experience I ever had with a product!!!
Recently purchased the Everlywell Cholesterol and Lipids Test, an at-home collection kit, with the expectation of conveniently checking my cholesterol levels. Unfortunately, my experience with this product was far from satisfactory. Firstly, the instructions provided were not as clear as I had hoped, making the collection process somewhat challenging. Despite carefully following the procedure, the test results I received were inconclusive, which was quite frustrating. . It's crucial for health-related products to deliver accurate and reliable results, and in this case, the product fell short. The customer service also needs significant improvement, especially when dealing with such sensitive and important health concerns. Upon contacting customer service for a resolution, I was disappointed by their response. I had hoped for a replacement kit or at least some form of assistance to rectify the issue. However, their inability to provide a replacement kit or a satisfactory solution left me feeling let down. The lack of support and the ineffective product have led me to question the reliability of Everlywell's at-home testing kits. I had chosen this product for its convenience and the reputation of Everlywell, but this experience has unfortunately tainted my view of the brand ... show more

  • It takes a long time to get results from the time you put it in the mail
They say it takes 2-5 days for results after the lab receives your kit. What they don't tell you is that it takes several days for the kit to go from your home to the mailed location then another several days for it to go from the mailed location to the actual lab. I mailed my kit back to them 10 days ago and their app tells me I'll get results within 2-5 days as the lab just got my kit yesterday. Basically it took 9 days to actually get to the lab! This means the true wait time for the results from the time you put your kit to the mailbox is more like 12-15 days. For that kind of wait and this kit isn't exactly cheap, you may want to rethink buying it. You can just go to Labcorp, pay $59 dollars and get your blood drawn. You will get your results in a day. That's only $11 dollars more and over 2 weeks faster for results. This kit asks for 4-5 big drops of blood which isn't really pleasant to get (it's messy too). I'd rather get my blood drawn. I'm giving this 3 stars because the time it takes to get results is misleading, the cost is too much compared to an actual quick in person lab test, but I can see the benefit for folks who like the do this in the comfort of their own home. ... show more

  • A very good idea
The convenience of finding out about your cholesterol without trekking to the Dr. is a good thing. Be sure to find the Instructions FIRST before messing with the needles - one push on them and they are unusable. Also REGISTER as well, so you get your results back. You have to load up the smear with enough so it can be processed. Stay well. ... show more

  • Accurate Results
Great test if you don't mind waiting. Also have to make sure test is up-to-date and all the info is inside the package.
