I cannot recommend Everlywell products. I have used at home blood tests from several manufacturers and have never had a problem. I have a degree in biology, have done phlebotomy, and feel quite comfortable taking and handling lab samples. I ordered this test which requires multiple drops of blood in circles on a test card. The first test was returned and after a delay Everlywell said there was a documentation issue with the sample draw, which I don’t understand as the only things required after registering your kit are your name, birth date, and sample date on a card, which I completed. They replaced the test. The replacement was done, and before mailing I validated the sample with the photographic application on their site; it said my sample was valid. I just got an email saying I had an insufficient sample and they were once again replacing my kit. It appears to me that either their tests are poorly designed or their lab handling processes are substandard. It’s now seven weeks since my original order and I’m once again waiting for another test kit, and of course have no results. I would absolutely not recommend dealing with this company or using their products.

Update: To my original review. I was super frustrated with the lancets. Erica from Everlywell reaches out to ask about buying more kits -I e-mailed back and said I threw the kit out because I could not get the lancets to work. She patiently got me the right info and replaced the kit. They are serious about people having the information and ability to manage their own health. I so appreciate how the company managed this! I tell everyone just buy these kits and take charge of your health. Original Review: I have used at home blood work kits before and the lancets were always well made and easy to use. After attempting to use the lancets in the Everlywell kit for 45 minutes I finally threw the whole thing away! I wasted my money. I like what this company is attempting to do but at home process has to be easier!

I have completed three at home test now and I highly recommend this product. It's easy, convenient, and the results are emailed. The finger pricker does not hurt, and the instructions are clear, everything you need is in the box. You put everything back in the box, apply the label, put it our for mail pick up, and you don't have to leave your house. I found out I was low of vitamin D, which is crucial for good health, so I am glad I purchased this kit.

EverlyWell's at-home test was exactly what I was looking for to start measuring my Vitamin D levels. The results were crystal clear and easy to interpret for both Vitamin D and Inflammation. It took a couple of weeks after shipping the sample back to EverlyWell to get my results, but that seems to be a bottleneck due to technology and ensuring quality results. I wish they offered additional vitamin and mineral tests (e.g. B-12) for at-home testing.

This is a easy test to take and very fast at getting your results. It took about a week to get the results after I sent the test in. Vitamin D and inflammation are very important to your overall health. This is a great way to determine whether you are deficient or have too much inflammation in your body.

In efforts to improve my health, I chose to get my vitamin d3 measured before taking supplements. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Results were given back to me in the time promised. I will be using this product again.

It took 1.5 weeks to get back when I mailed it out on a Tuesday. For a cheaper price, I could have bought a lab test at directlabs or quest and walked into one of the labs for the blood draw, receiving the results in 2-3 days. Would have been less painful as I had to slice up my fingers (waited 3-4 days for that cut to heal) to get enough blood for each of those spots.
