🧬Tiny Health Adult Gut Test Kit 4.4✰ I encountered a few challenges with the initial sample collection process. Due to my stool weight, the adhesive on the sampling sheet failed on one side and unfortunately fell into the toilet, making it unusable. Additionally, my stool surface was quite smooth, which made it difficult to collect the sample properly—I ended up overloading it. I was disappointed to be charged an additional $10 for a replacement kit, and the delay cost me extra one week. If you're planning to use this test, I recommend collecting your stool sample using toilet paper first to avoid similar issues. Perhaps they can place an extra swab instead of the redundant sampling sheet. That said, the test results arrived in about three weeks and were incredibly insightful—far beyond what I had received from traditional medical consultations. The report identified a few disruptive bacteria that had likely been contributing to my bloating and weight issues for years. It also provided information on whether I had sufficient levels of bacteria linked to neurotransmitters like serotonin, melatonin, and GABA for insomnia issue. Tiny Health adult test kit shows much more results compared to other test kit with various bacteria, fungus, virus, parasites, & archaea. What impressed me most was the inclusion of biomarkers related to various types of cancer, along with personalized dietary recommendations aimed at promoting long-term health. One particularly rewarding discovery was the presence of odoribacter, a bacterium commonly found in centenarians. Overall, despite the initial hiccups, the insights I gained were well worth it. **final update** It’s been 3 months, and I’ve still heard nothing—no email, no results, no communication at all. I figured maybe I missed a notification, so I logged into the site to check. Surprise: everything I entered originally was gone. My account was basically wiped clean, and I was prompted to “activate a kit” like I’d never used the service before. Even the second profile I created by mistake had vanished. It was as if none of it ever happened. Whether it’s a glitch or just bad design, the website clearly isn’t saving user data reliably—or maybe the registration process is so confusing that people don’t actually complete it without realizing. Either way, I expected something to be saved after going through the trouble of swabbing and shipping. For $249, I’d hope my tiny sample’s journey would at least lead to some kind of result. Right now, it feels like I just mailed my poop into the void. **Update** Kit says 3-4 weeks for results. Its been 6 weeks now, and i havent heard anything. *Original Review* This mail-in poop test kit comes with two instruction cards, and you really need to read both unless you want to accidentally botch the process. One of the most important steps—writing your name, DOB, and phone number on a sticker and putting it on the vial—isn’t even on the step-by-step instructions. If you miss it, congratulations, you’ve just sent in an anonymous turd. Now, onto the main event: the delivery system. You get a fancy paper poop catcher, which is basically a toilet hammock with adhesive wings that stick to the bowl, ready for collection. If you’d rather go rogue, there’s an alternative method: swabbing straight from toilet paper. but here’s the catch—if you’re a clean pooper and wipe only to find… nothing, well, you’re out of luck. This method only works if you actually leave something behind. The kit also includes a vial with a tiny swab to collect a smear, and the infamous sticker for your info. Then comes the fun part—registering online. I was setting up my account mid-poop prep and somehow managed to create two profiles—one as myself and another… also as myself. You have to enter your sample code (found on both the box and the vial), since everything links to the same sample code, I think I’m fine. Or I’m about to get twice the results. Science! Once you're done, you need to mail the sample ASAP using the included pre-addressed box. The instructions say results take 3-4 weeks, so stay tuned—I’ll update this when I get them and let you know if I’ve unlocked any exciting secrets about my gut health. The real shocker—this thing costs $249. That’s a lot of money to pay to send a tiny turd on a solo adventure. I got this kit for free, but if I had to buy it myself? Whew. Maybe it’s worth it, but I honestly can’t afford to do this for my whole family. I imagine you can get something similar done through your primary care doctor for much cheaper, but I’m still young and haven’t unlocked that level of adulting yet. Final verdict?
