I'm actually on prescription fentanyl patches, so I thought I could wrangle one of my used patches (or my blood or...) and mess with the test enough to demonstrate a positive test, but that's just not the way these work. Read the description carefully - they're for testing if your dry "substances" have fentanyl, not if your kid/patient/SO/spouse anyone else is using fentanyl. Used as directed (and, in fairness, as described) I'm sure they work fine, but I was disappointed that I couldn't, perhaps uniquely amongst testers, demonstrate a positive result.

I like to have these on hand but I haven't had any use for them yet. I did open just to check it out and it seems like it's well made and easy to use with super simple clear instructions. Unfortunately this isn't an everyday item that I could test out but for all intents and purposes these seem just as trustworthy as any other test out there

I have not had occasion to use these yet, but I appreciate the simple and clear directions. I trust the product to be accurate, which will give peace of mind when I or a friend have the need for it. We also have Narcan on hand. Harm-reduction should be a priority for any household. There are too many tragedies involving fentanyl, and it’s great that resources to prevent them are becoming more abundant and available.
