I purchased this 2 weeks ago, sent in my hair sample and received my results at the end of last week. I got the results six calendar days after they emailed me that they received the hair sample. I have been going over the results and implementing their suggestions. I found it very insightful and I want to know more. As far as the efficacy of the results, they are still to be determined. Very informative! My only issue was the time it took to arrive to the facility. I sent it on August 28th. It wasn’t received until September 8th. This for me was nerve wracking and had me thinking it was a scam, but I was so wrong. So be patient! I had my results in 5 business days. This was an easy process test. Unfortunately my first one got lost in the mail so I had to purchase a new tracking number. However the results showed some sensitivity to foods I suspected and some I didn’t.

I've been struggling to lose weight for years, after re-gaining weight when my daughter was 1 and a half, by eating all the wrong things. (Sugar, sugar, more sugar). Feeling generally crummy, I thought this would be a nice way to inform myself. I was offered a deal upon registration, for a handful of other test, like cortisol and hunger hormones, which I also got, and I have a pretty big picture of myself at this point. They key thing is to realize they're not testing for allergies, just intolerances, and that the test is for what it is, and isn't omnipotent or all-encompassing. I bought this test in hopes of finding an answer to what my allergies were. My lifestyle changes daily and with each new day, I find my body being affected negatively. I know specifically, that I have several allergies to food. Once I sent out my hair follicles, I got the results back within a week and then was able to make changes to my diet and lifestyle. Now that I have a definite answer on what foods make me more bloated or break out, I am able to eliminate them from my diet. Since then, my body has more energy and little to almost no pain. This test was extremely helpful to find out about vitamin and mineral deficiencies, and candida overgrowth. My partner has been having extreme health issues for almost a year now, has seen about a dozen doctors and none of them have done the most basic testing that is included in this kit. The food intolerances we took with a grain of salt, because between my partner and I it said we were intolerant to almost every vegetable, so if we followed their guidelines there would barely be anything we could eat 🤣 But it was accurate with finding out I have a nickel intolerance because I know I can't wear certain jewelry. Update - I’m now even more convinced that this is a scam. After my sample was received it was radio silence until I reached out. Then I get one email stating they have my results and to expect them that day (9/20). Then a second contradictory email stating their lab had technical issues and had not been able to process my sample yet. Once again it goes silent for a week until I reach out and say forget it I am returning this to Amazon. Then a supervisor follows up and says results had already been sent... yes they were, coincidentally right after I submitted my complaint... I responded to that person outlining my experience again and stated that I felt previous communication had been dishonest and I have now lost faith in the legitimacy of their “test results”. I advised I would be sharing my experience with Amazon and submitting a return and stated I also wanted a refund for the up charge I paid directly to them for additional results. She just responded again and said “I see your results were sent on the 26th” - no acknowledgment at all of anything else. Just horrible customer service and like I said really giving the feeling of a scam … I have wanted to find out more about potential food sensitivities for some time, but most kits were around $150 so I never pulled the trigger. I was excited when I saw this one for $60. The instructions in the kit itself were very basic. I didn’t realize until looking on the website later that there were actually some helpful tips for getting a good sample that I should have followed. The site itself is not particularly user friendly, but I was able to register my kit and also spent an additional $17 adding on the cortisol test. I got an email saying my sample was received and to expect results in 1-4 business days. After that period passed I tried to use the chat on the site and the automated bot said results available in 1-3 days from sample received and then it ended the chat… okay, so I sent an email instead. I received a response from someone at the company who stated I would have them by the end of that day. Then a bit later I received an automated email stating results indefinitely delayed… that was several days ago and I have gotten nothing further. For me the lower price is not worth the frustration and especially not worth it considering I’ve gotten nothing for the money spent. ... show more
