For a while I have wanted a heavy bag/punching bag. This bag from Everlast is just what I wanted and more. It’s easy to put together, sturdy and just fun to hit and workout with. People have said it can be a pain to fill with sand, for me it wasn’t that bad. I set the base at an angle against a space heater and filled with a water bottle for a funnel and a measuring cup to scoop. It took about 75lbs of sand and only around 30-45 minutes. I just use this for an upper body workout, and to get my heart beating...it's fun. I don't have space for a full bag, so this works out great. It is dense foam though, so it's not going to feel so hard as a bag, but for messing around it's good. It's easier on your body than a bag. I hear the spring can eventually wear out, but nothing lasts forever, and I don't go crazy on it like some videos I've seen. ... show more

Good product. Bit over priced my opinion. I would not recommend hitting it 100% power may not last long time if you do. Overall I yes I recommend for practicing & losing weight.     • Nice punching bag, but very springy
I am a forty-something woman who is five feet four inches tall. I love using this punching bag because it's fun and a good frustration outlet. I do want to say though that I am not exceptionally strong, but it is still easy to punch this bag so that it springs back pretty dramatically in the other direction before coming towards me again. While I generally like this feature, I would prefer just a little less springiness. I think this bag would be better for kids or adults who are using it on a casual basis like I am instead of something using it for serious boxing practice. I am happy with my purchase though the next time I purchase a bag, I will look for one that is just a little big stronger. ... show more

This was a present for my son who loves boxing. He's 14 5'11" and 250 lbs. A big boy. He can jab at this all day and it still stands strong. Putting it together was easy. It's so much nicer than I expected. The only problem I had was filling it. The process was ok but if you get any water on top of the base it leaks out. Wasn't a lot because the hole is big enough to fill with household bucket but just keep a couple towels around it just in case. I would definitely say buy this. Worth the money. ... show more

The cobra bag like recoil is unique for a heavy bag. You can go 100% all out in power and the bag's base won't budge. Great way to practice offense and defense.

    • My Second One, Because Its That Good.
I love this bag and have for a few years. This is my second one I just bought since I had to leave my old one behind when I moved. This is not a heavy "heavy bag" for power blasting, for that you really need a heavy hanging bag. I appreciate everything about the way this bag moves with me and the required force to move it since its ample for attaining skill and not just impressing myself with my power. This bag is extremely durable and has enough resistance and movement to get you working angles and learning to move your head while still keeping you honest with your power shots. The only small downside is the large size of the base. That said, I don't know how else the bag would remain upright or be as stable as it is. I fill mine with water for easier mobility and this works fine since I use if for accuracy and angles more than power. Very easy on the fists. ... show more

This is absolutely the most poorly designed product I have ever purchased. It is impossible to fill the base with sand. Thereby making the entire product unusable. Everlast really living up to the Neverlast moniker with this one…
