No getting them confused because they are all different colors. These headlamps are surprisingly bright and feel well made. I really like the different lighting options, especially the red and green light functions, which are useful and fun. That said, they are extremely bright for something marketed toward kids. The packaging does note that children shouldn’t use them unsupervised, and I agree — if a child were to stare directly into the light, it could hurt their eyes. Because of that, I wouldn’t feel comfortable letting kids use these on their own. A Reliable, Bright Headlamp Perfect for Family Adventures After testing the EverBrite Headlamp during nightly dog walks and a weekend camping trip, I can confidently say it's a solid choice for casual outdoor use. The 300-lumen high beam provided plenty of light for trails, while the red and green modes were great for keeping night vision intact. The adjustable strap fit everyone in my family - from my youngest to the adults - and stayed secure even during active use. I especially liked the 65-degree tilt, which made it easy to direct the light where I needed it, whether setting up a tent or reading in the dark. One thing to note is the battery life.
