    • Takes getting used to but worth it
I was a little skeptical because of some of the other reviews but decided to try it to deal with my greying hair, which is becoming coarser and a little frizzy. After a few days of use, I am pretty happy with the outcome. Pros: My hair is smoother and shinier and the frizz is tamed. It dries my hair quickly and efficiently. I have shoulder length hair and the 1 1/2 inch brush works. The 2" brush will only be good for much longer hair. I haven't yet tried to really get some waves in my hair but I think it will work well. Cons: 1. It is clumsy to use. I hope the company reads these reviews, placement of the controls could be better. It is almost impossible to use the cool setting to set curls because of the location of the temperature control. The spin control buttons are next to each other and the orientation of the wand changes when you move from the right to the left side of your head so that you have to switch buttons to curl in the same direction. That would not happen if the buttons were one above the other. 2. The bristles in the brush are too soft. I don't have thick hair and still it takes some effort to get the brush to grab onto the hair for curling. The sad thing is that it could be so much better with a little more thought as to the placement of the controls and the type of bristles. **Update - I ended up returning this. It is just too clumsy to use effectively. I unearthed an old non-spinning curling brush of mine, one with plastic spikes in stead of bristles. It works just a well and is easier to use. ... show more

I recently purchased my second rotating hair dryer brush on Amazon, and once again, I find myself disappointed. The first one, a DAILYLIFE product, had issues with its rotating mechanism from the very first use. Not only did it lack consistent rotation, but it eventually ceased to function altogether. Additionally, it failed to generate sufficient heat, making the styling process less efficient. My current purchase, while functional, seems to lack the power needed for effective drying. It took a whopping two hours to dry my hair, a task that typically requires a mere 40 minutes with a conventional hair dryer and brush. This experience has left me questioning why it's so challenging to incorporate the drying power of a regular hair dryer, complete with ion technology and other advanced features found in traditional brushes, into a rotating hair dryer brush. I can't help but wonder why manufacturers struggle to integrate the proven technologies of traditional brushes into their rotating counterparts. A rotating brush with the drying power of a regular dryer, along with firm bristles and all the technological advancements available in traditional brushes, should not be an unattainable goal. The initial DAILYLIFE model suffered from mechanical issues and insufficient heat, while the current one, although operational, lacks the necessary drying power and presents a significant ergonomic flaw. To maintain its rotation, I must continuously press the button, resulting in considerable hand pain and discomfort. The prolonged styling process, coupled with the physical strain on my hands, has made me question not only the efficiency but also the fundamental usability of these rotating brushes. As I continue my search for a reliable rotating hair dryer brush, cost is not the primary concern; I am willing to invest in a high-quality product. I'm open to recommendations from anyone who has found success with a particular brand or model. At this point, I am prepared to return these brushes that seem to come from China with identical components and only differ in brand names, offering the same disappointing results.
