I usually don't recommend buying any EVSE that does not have a UL rating but after three of our GM UL approved portable EVSE's started overheating I decided to give a couple of these a try and I am glad I did! The 25' cords are very pliable and thick. Surprisingly good quality. One very key feature is the incredibly adjustable amperage output. This is a game changer and allows you to adjust to any situation you find yourself in. When using two EVSE's on my subpanel at the same time I can turn these down to as little 6 amps! The choices are 6,8,10,13,16,20,24,32 & 40! All of the output amperages test correctly. So far in two months they have both run cool and problem free. If your having trouble maintaining 40amps output you may be using a cheap quality $10.00 NEMA 14-50 receptacle which has too small of contacts. Try replacing the receptacle with a larger commercial duty Hubbell/Bryant NEMA 14-50 receptacle. The cheaper smaller receptacles are a safety and fire hazard as they can not handle the continuous use duty cycles of an EV, Considering they have sold over 200 of these EVSE's in the last month alone I would say the failure rate is very low. I will check back if anything changes. *Update 7/2/25. These are still working well however now that summer is here I noticed that the cords run very warm at 40 amps. It seems that they are only using 9awg wire instead of 8awg! (where do you even find 9awg?) It is listed right on the cords. These should NOT be run at 40 amps! I now limit the charge rate to 32 amps and all is well again. If you want it to last a long time you should run them at no higher than 32 amps as well.

We have a 24' Rav4 Prime and charging it with the charger Toyota provided was dismal at best. This charges absurdly faster and having created a schedule to charge at night when it's cheaper has added some cost savings to our monthly electric bill. Installation was a breeze (we did have a 240V outlet preinstalled when we purchased our home). In the process of getting a second EV vehicle and will be buying a second charger soon.

We’ve been using this charger for Tesla Y since November and it’s been working perfectly. Fast charging, easy to use, and the display is clear. We set it to 24 amps because we have a 30A breaker — no issues at all. No overheating, no errors. Very happy with the purchase!

Used this charger less than a year and noticed my garage smelling like burnt plastic. Found the plug melted itself and kept charging my car anyway. I tried to reach out to manufacturer as Amazon didn’t help with it at all. Gave me a web page that my browser said Forbidden page. Can’t get any help.

The media could not be loaded. I'm very impressed with the AIMILER Level 1/2 Tesla Charger. Setup was simple and truly plug-and-play—no complex installation required. It includes both a 240V NEMA 6-20P plug and a 120V adapter, making it easy to switch between Level 1 and Level 2 charging wherever I am. The 25-foot cable provides plenty of reach, so I don’t have to move my Tesla to plug it in.

UPDATE: 6 months later and this Charger still works great and no problems...... Original post: All I did was plug it into the 14-50 receptacle on the side of my house, then plugged it into my EV6 and presto, it started charging. Gave me all the info on the screen I needed to know. Easy to install bracket to slide the charger into was in the box and instruction for all were easy enough for anyone to understand, just my opinion on that part, but very easy to read and understand for me :) I wish it had given me a bracket to hang up the charging cable when not in use, but for the price, we cannot expect everything. I think this is a great charger for new to EV world or someone who has had and EV before.
