  • Couldn't be happier with this purchase
Color: Black
I was skeptical at first but this has been one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon in awhile. Works fast. Easy to use. Larger capacity than most. Very happy with it. I love the nugget ice it makes. It's pretty quiet compared to the one it replaced. It's a lot quieter too. Plus it looks nice on the counter. ... show more

  • Great ice for a couple people
Color: Black
Finally, sonic ice at home. We used to buy bags of sonic ice, even before my refrigerator ice maker broke. And especially afterwards. That got to be a little bit cumbersome. Right when this euhomy ice comes out of the machine, you might say it’s harder than sonic ice. However as soon as you pour a drink into it, it naturally melts down just a smidge and at that point it’s the same, minus a hair of chew factor. I did a blind taste, crunch, chew test with my husband. Sonic ice in one and euhomy ice in another. He is a major ice aficionado, and he got it wrong!!!! In my picture this is one full basket of ice in a one gallon Ziploc. I lay them flat so they will stack nicely in the freezer and prep ice for the week. As needed, I take one or two bags out of the freezer, smack it with a rubber mallet and put it in my old ice dispenser, so it dispenses out of the fridge door. I eat ice all day and night. FYI this machine isn’t insulated to store the ice. Once it’s made you need to use it move your freezer. It’s my first anncillary ice maker so I have nothing to compare to but it makes ice slowly. In 9 hours I’m on my 4th basket of ice. I just set it and walk away then come back a few hours later to put in the freezer. So be prepared for that. A couple more things that are not in the instructions but gtk: when you’re done making ice, and have drained the drain plug on bottom, remove all removable parts: basket, reservoir. Hand Dry them and set aside overnight. Then hand dry the inside as much as you can reach. Overnight, keep the door open as well as the door to reservoir 2. This is important to avoid mold or mineral build up — even though it has a “self cleaner” (which only streams water through the unit) Yes there is a reservoir 2, accessible from a hatch on top. It’s not required to fill up but may help you from having to stop and fill up the water so often. I’ve seen people post picks of mildew but you have to use common sense and hand dry and air out. Mineral deposits are inevitable on any water driven appliance unless you have a water softener. A water filter does not catch most minerals. A softener does. Neither are required but just a gtk. And finally, like a proper dingusdongus I made an instructional sticker and stuck in on the front. A week later I peeled it off and it left residue. So I busted out the goof off which goofed off some of the plastic. It was left looking sad, so I did some custom work with chalkboard markers. You’re welcome 🤦♀️ I’m really happy with it. And would recommend. It’s kinda fun. I made it sound like work but it’s no more work than any small appliance. Clean it, keep it dry, store properly. ... show more

  • Machine has gotten nosier over the first two months of ownership
Color: Black
Bought this a little over two months ago on June 17, 2026. It started off well. Ice was nice and it was quiet. In the last two months it has gotten louder and makes strange noises. About a month ago it started making whirling noise, kind of sounds like a belt pulley on car screeching. This week its started making a loud clicking noise about every 10 seconds, 24 hours a day. Would not buy. ... show more

  • The Ultimate Ice Experience (Just Be Ready for the Daily Maintenance)
Color: Black
If you love soft, chewable "Sonic-style" ice, this pebble ice maker is an absolute game-changer for home cold drinks. What Works Great Incredible Ice Texture: Produces soft, crunchable nugget ice quickly, perfect for iced coffee, soda, and cocktails. Plug-and-Play Setup: Unboxing to first batch takes under 15 minutes—just plug it in, fill the reservoir, and hit start. Intuitive Operation: Simple one-touch controls mean anyone in the house can operate it without reading a manual. The Main Drawback Daily Maintenance Required: To keep the machine running smoothly and prevent mineral buildup or mold, you really need to empty, wipe down, and run a cleaning/flush cycle every day. Skipping routine care quickly leads to noisy operation or scale buildup. Overall, if you're willing to commit to the daily maintenance routine, the payoff of having endless, perfect pebble ice right on your countertop is well worth the extra effort. ... show more

  • Wildly exceeded my expectations! Sometimes reviews don't tell the whole story
Color: Black
So far has wildly exceeded my expectations! I have craved a real nugget (Sonic style) ice maker, but price and reviews have scared me off. The name brands were way too pricey with poor reviews, and most of the cheaper ones had so-so reviews. But I took a chance and wow! Makes ice incredibly fast. Perfect ice. Shuts down when full. Signals when out of water. Some folks complained about it being noisy, but it is intermittent, and we have already turned it out, plus it is drowned out by THE TV, A/C and so on. So a month in I LOVE it! My wife didn't want it and wasnt going to use it, but now she uses it constantly! DISCLAIMER! We have a Culligan osmosis water filter at our sink that we also use for coffee and tea. It filters EVERYTHING out of the water. Now the only question is how long the device lasts. PS I turn it off when I retire for the night and turn it back on on rising. It recovers FAST! ... show more

  • Best ice machine I've owned...
Color: Black
LOVE this ice machine! So very quiet in comparison to the previous two I have owned. Great ice, nice price and just the right size. i previously owned the GE Profile Opal 1.0 and 2.0 as well as a small Igloo machine -- they all made loud noises when making ice...this one is so quiet.

  • The small ice is what my wife wanted
Color: Black
The small ice is what my wife wanted; and she has it now. Star reduction is because of where the drain hole is and that it isn't a screw in. It is a two cylindrical stem silicone insert that is challenging to find holes. You must pull it past the edge of counter and get under the device to fuss about and reinsert it, water drips onto counter face and floor. Not too bad but a nuisance to have to do extra cleanup. I have had a malfunction during second use that indicated to add water while the water bin had plenty of water in it, about 3/4 full. Noise level is noticeable in that you know the machine is running in the next room but not too noticeable that it disturbs us. The frequent drop of a dozen pieces or so is noticeable; but it is what ice machines do. A more insulated door design would help this and keep ice cooler till emptied.. My freezer is -10F so the sweat on ice can solidify chunks and become one piece if not hammered after 10-15 minutes. I use 1/4 size steam pans with lids to put the ice bucket's initial dump, and let the ice freeze the sweat. Then I flip pan with lid on and tap bottom of pan to loosen. Then I use a stainless steel tenderizer hammer to break up chunks. Then I place in a 1/2 size pan for bulk storage. Once it freezes, say an hour as I fill my 1/4 sizes routine, I'll break up chunks again when I empty 1/4 size into it. My lower freezer can fit four 1/4 size pans with lids and two 1/2 size all 4 inch deep. Seems like a lot of work but It makes me get up every hour and move around, and became a routine to get me away from my desk. I have it on my countertop next to the sink so that the exhaust fan blows over empty space of sink to have less effect on room temperature change. Value for the money is long term. 16 pound bag of ice is close to $7. $7 twice a week x 52=$728. So during the day I run it continuously filling 3-4 times depending on how much ice we used can yield us 2 days of ice before I need to make more. It will produce first drop in 10-12 minutes and then as it is continuous it produces quicker drops. can fill a bucket in around an hour. So while it is producing ice I have my water filter pitcher making water to poor in the water bin. I find that the Epic Water Filter is a great companion to the speed of this ice maker. Water is filtered and ready to fill bin when needed. I have found that you can barely use a 6oz scoop in the ice bucket , but you will be scratching bottom of Ice bin and that isn't a good idea. 3oz scoop is better and as close to the included scoop I can find on amazon. Sides of machine are magnetic so you can use magnetic hooks. The scoop magnetic strips are geared more for the full size ice machines, The white scoop pictured in the lady's hand is not at all accurate. The one included that will actually fit in the bin is very small but is white plastic. Re-stating why star reduction: Drain plug is annoying to use, non insulated door (causes ice sweating that can cause clumps and more noise), and after second use, I had a incorrect error (just unplugged and let it sit a few minutes and plugged in and error went away). ... show more

Fantastic nugget ice maker! It produces soft, chewable Sonic‑style ice quickly and consistently. Setup was simple, the machine runs quietly, and the self‑cleaning feature is super convenient. Great ice, great capacity, great value.
