I feel like a lot of people made some of these out to be horrible. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this ice maker is quite good for what it was worth. The ice actually lasts for a decent amount of time, and even if it does melt the water goes right back into tank and gets reused for new ice. And it makes a decent amount of ice each time and once it gets going it gets going quickly. I live in a house of 4 and we go through a lot of ice, the ice holder may seem small but it works very well as it holds a bit of ice before it gets full. It does have a chemical smell when you open it up so just wash the ice tray and scoop and take a cloth with soap and water and wash the inside of the water holder and it’s good to go. I wouldn’t say it’s very portable the handle is very flimsy but it’s not too heavy to carry yourself without the handle. It makes a soft sound, kinda like a white noise machine it’s not very overwhelming like some people make it seem. And while the ice is wet occasionally, it lasts a decent amount of time in my drinks. I got this as a Mother’s Day gift for my mom and I have to say I am quite pleased. I think out of all the ones I’ve looked at this is the better option for an affordable ice maker!

This ice maker is awesome, so easy to setup and simple to operate. Makes ice very fast and it’s fun to watch the cubes being made. This is perfect if you don’t already have an in-freezer ice maker, or are in need of making extra ice at a fast rate for parties… etc., very easy to clean and does not take up too much space. Super quiet and very sturdy.

Got this as our ice maker on our whirlpool fridge crapped out for the 4th time and I was sick of living like it was 1978 and I was making trays of cubes only to have the children(teens) take them all and not make new ones. This little $69 gadget makes ice as promised. Fast and frozen, just don’t let it sit there. The inside of the unit is not refrigerated so the ice melts, then you stick it in a little bin in your freezer a(nd it turns into a big glacier. It’d be perfect and probably $200) of it stayed cold. It very crunchable ice however not Chick Fil a Level but good. It’s a bit noisy, like an air fryer. But easy to use. I may get my daughter one for her dorm.

Reasonable price for a product that actually works fantastic. Provided you read the instructions and you keep it clean like they tell you to do. You must run a clean wash of water that takes 30 minutes at least every 2 to 3 weeks. It’s going to keep the system functioning the right way Works fast. Produces ice fairly quickly. Good size ice cubes pretty good deal.

I have an icemaker in my fridge that stops working now and then. Tried all the usual things to make it work. it just takes a rest for a few weeks and starts making ice again. However, it stopped making ice for 3 months. I am not spending money to have it fixed so I bought this ice maker. Followed all directions and it made a basket full of nice ice. then it made a second basket of ice soon after. I heard an odd noise in my fridge and guess what? My fridge decided to make ice again. Wow! How did it know? Spooky. I will alternate between the fridge ice and the countertop ice. It is a nice, quiet machine and makes cute ice. I am doubly happy.

I like that it is small enough to hide out on the counter or end table, it makes ice very quickly and in fact the first 12 hours we made about 10 pounds of ice. It is not very loud, not any louder than a fridge running. I found out that after 12 hours of continuous use things can go wrong. The unit had 2 red lights flashing alternating from one to the other for about 30 minutes, we shut it off and started it back up and it went back to doing the same thing. The unit had enough water, so that wasn't the problem and then it went into self cleaning mode. The Euhomy website wasn't any help so I went to YouTube and it was suggested to turn the unit off and let it set for a while and then turn it back on, so that is what we did. We let it set for 30 minutes and turned it back on and it went back to making ice and we haven't had the problem repeat since. The unit is awkward to empty remaining water so it can be cleaned, they installed a small plastic plug on the bottom of the unit that is very difficult to dislodge and replace. I don't trust the plastic carrying handle at all as it is very flimsy. We have continued making ice everyday without any more problems, we clean it out after we are done making ice, drain the water and wipe down the inside until it is dry. So far so good.
