We had a Whirlpool that was installed by the previous owners of my house. It died (as they do) the replacement model was about $2500. No way I was going to do that for ICE. I found this one and held my breath (admittedly not a lot of faith on a cheaper product from China). It fits exactly as expected. Setup and installation was fairly easy, any trouble I had was just the nature of fitting an appliance in a exact space. The ice makers works really well. Simple as that. Churns out ice quickly on the lowest thickness setting. You can set higher for thicker ice, but it takes a little more effort to break up. Do yourself a favor and get a metal ice scoop to break up ice. Thin plastic scoop isn't helpful. It is kind of loud. I do turn it off from time to time during movies as it sits in a bar not far from the TV and couches. The bin is huge and a full bin with machine turned off lasts over a day. I'm happy with it. It was a good purchase.

The media could not be loaded. As you can see in the video, I have attached a scooper from another ice maker to the door. The icemaker was provided with a scoop that you simply let it get buried in the ice bucket? The handle that comes with it does not match in color, looks too bulky and it is also unnecessary. Therefore, I did not install it. It’s easy to open and close the door without that big bulky handle. In fact if I had to install a handle I would place it horizontally on the top of the door. Regarding the ice cube size and clarity. The clarity of the ice depends on your water. The ice comes out very nice however, it is falling in chunks of ice grids. You will have to break them down. It is not difficult. however, if you choose a thick ice setting, the ice cubes would not come apart easily. For indoor use, this icemaker is a little noisy. They literally use three high-speed computer fans to cool the compressor , which I believe with a small investment they could use quieter fans. I have read about complaints about leaks in other reviews therefore, I took the approach of contacting the seller to explain the cause for those leaks before I make a purchase. The seller explained that the outgoing hose connecting to the drain cannot be higher than 60 cm from the floor the pump is not strong enough to push water up higher, I followed his advice and everything works fine. I also want to point out that I used metal clamps going out of the unit and into the drain. Do not take any chances. I believe that some did not use metal clamps at the bottom of the unit drain because it seem tighten enough or a clamp was actually not provided , I would urge the seller to provide clamps and clearer instructions. I can summarize that the icemaker as it is presents a good value as long as it would last for a few years. time will tell so far I owned it for two months. I can also predict that getting replacements parts will be almost impossible

I waited to write this review to make sure that our ice maker could perform in the long run. It has. We have had this unit for over six months, and it works like a dream. Our ice container is filled daily with clear, good-sized cubes that are perfect for our iced tea and other drinks. While the ice maker while running can be heard, it is not too loud or disturbing. It is. to us, the sound of ice being made and that is a good thing. It has one job and it does it well.

So we bought this ice maker in October 2024. It was the least expensive full size ice maker I found but it had pretty good reviews so I thought I would take a chance on it. Well, it has far exceeded my expectations & we are thrilled with it. Works as good, so far, as the previous $3500 ice maker that it replaced. The first ice maker I received did not work. I'm pretty sure it was damaged during shipping and the refrigerant leaked out as there were issues with the shipping box and the machine worked fine, but the evaporator would not get cold. I sent Euhomy an email and they responded the same day, suggesting a fix I could try. When that didn't work, they shipped a replacement machine which arrived the next day! That one worked instantly. I'm loving my new ice maker. At a small fraction of the cost of my old Scotsman, this machine was so much easier to install and is sooooooo much easier to clean. Installation was almost plug-and-play--literally attach the water supply, plug it in, press the on button. I also installed a simple Insinkerator water filter behind the ice maker because water quality at our house isn't awesome. All told, installation took about 10 minutes and 15 minutes later, I had ice. The unit is also lighter than my old Scotsman, so it will be easy to pull out to replace the water filter cartridges. This ice maker is a fairly simple design and most components are accessible from the front of the machine, which makes cleaning a breeze and will make any potential future repairs much easier. Happy customer!
