Been eyeing a portable fridge cooler for a while. Have a long term plan for retirement with a camper conversion and part of the plan is a larger "name brand" dc cooler, so I figured I would try one of the "cheap" ones to get started. So far the cooler has exceeded all expectations. Used it for 4 days, for work, 90* degrees plugged into AC. Kept my burgers frozen, drinks cold. Used it for 2 days plugged into a custom 50ah power bank. Didn't even knock 50% off the battery. And kept everything frozen. Pros- -Super quiet, don't understand people who say it's loud. Can barely hear it turn on even in the wilderness -Energy efficient. Don't know exact specs, but as stated set it at 25*f on eco mode. Ran it for about 48 hours off 50ah battery. Ambient temperature was around 60-80*. Still had 50%+ of battery. That's with cell phone charging and opening closing alot. - seems well insulated. Kept things cold even when not on for a good period of time - door latch and light. The light is sufficient and an added bonus, like that the lid has a latch to keep door securely closes -perfect size for my needs. Has a little shelf above the compressor for warmer things. Like that they put this here, instead of just extending the case and waiting real estate. Cons - can hear the compressor bouncing around alot when I have in the back seat of my truck. Worry about the longevity if the compressor is moving around so much - compressor also make a "clunking" sound when it turns off. Only time will tell how well this works. Keeping a Talley on how much I have saved on ice. Will send update if it fails, but so far so good. Would recommend to anyone UPDATE- Almost a year later and still going strong. As mentioned before far exceeding my expectations. Found I can run on my 50ah battery for 4-6 days, based upon ambient temperature, cooler temperature (frozen food vs 35-40*). Hard to even think about going back to an ice chest, I used to use dry ice for extended trips, but with this there is no need and I can adjust as needed.

I absolutely am in love with this fridge. I use it in my car for all sorts of things. Road trip? Full of food and drinks. Grocery store run? Keeps everything frozen yes it will freeze food. The value is insanely good as this has an actual compressor I believe and somehow also handles condensation without any leaks. It’s super durable and portable. Have had no issues with it. The modes are nice too. I use an external battery so it runs when my car is off and setting it to eco mode and H3 lets it drain all the way down to 10%. Would like to just disable voltage cutoff but I understand it probably can’t function. The one single issue with it is the top opens just a few degrees past 90. So a gentle breeze or looking at it wrong will close it. It hit me on the head once from this. But for everything else it’s perfect and beyond what I thought it would do.

this car refrigerator is great - I've had it for 8 months and many thousands of miles and it works great on 12v in the car and also great plugged in when it's inside just a very nice piece of equipment to have for the road I've had it packed to absolute capacity where the lid would barely close, full with frozen food and it maintained temperature easily for days without anything thawing at all it's also quiet and doesn't vibrate much - I had this plugged into a wall socket at a cabin with wood floors for a week and nobody noticed it being on ... same in the car, it's not very noticeable unless the car is silent the power cords don't get very warm even after hours of use, so it seems like it's also good on power usage bravo to the engineers who design these update July 2025 ... still looks and works like new -- set to the lowest setting of -4 this refrigerator/cooler just successfully transported 8 pints of ice cream 3 full hours on the road in July and it was perfectly fine when we got there I do always precool the cooler inside for an hour or so before a big trip, and make sure your stuff is already cold

I have used this refrigerator on a couple trips. It has kept everything cold. It works just as well in the truck on 12 volts as it does inside on 120 volts. It can be heavy, but I use the hotel cart to take it in and out since it has no wheels. When I am home, I keep it plugged in on the porch for an extra drink cooler.

This Fridge Ice chest is totally awesome. Perfect for 12v in the truck behind the seat keeping stuff cold. we had ice in our drinks. Perfect for sitting outside the camper keeping our stuff really cold. Just went to the Farmers Market and loaded it with bags of peas and butter beans. An hour of traveling to get home and the produce had ice developing in the bags. IT WORKS!!!

I got this for my hubby as a bday gift. We were going camping in 2 weeks. After reading all the information there was an app to download to help control everything from your phone with Bluetooth. We were NOT able to set it up for our 1st camping trip. It works nicely. Hubby didn't set it for C not F. It was freezing everything. It was amazing how frozen everything was and how fast it froze. but that's not what we wanted. Our 2nd camping trip is coming. We were able to finally get the Bluetooth and app working. Now it was set to Fahrenheit and still works nicely.

Very happy with how this cools down very quickly and stays that way, even when not running for a short time. It does not hold a ton of stuff but is perfect for a few items on your trip home from the frozen food section. Very tough material and generally attractive. Just be aware that not all vehicles have a “constant” 12V outlet, unit will only run if vehicle is running, if cooled down first it will still keep things cool for a short while.
