When our old doorbell suddenly died, I had to scurry to find a replacement. Funny enough, the support person I called about our old doorbell recommended the Eufy! We like the idea of having a wireless setup with no paid monitoring. This was definitely the doorbell for us. Set up was super easy. It connected immediately with our Wi-Fi and has a great signal. The picture is very clear and the app is very straightforward to use. Some people might think there’s a downside to not connecting with your indoor chime, but we have it connected to Alexa, which gives us a verbal alert when the doorbell rings. The app also connects to your phone and actually sends a phone call to your phone if desired to alert you when someone’s at your front door so you can speak to them. In the settings, there are some great options for setting up motion detection if you want that level of security. For the price, this was a great doorbell choice! Our entryway is such that we also installed the doorbell on a curved wedge, so it has a straight on view when someone arrives.

This doorbell camera works well, video looks good, and is clear with decent resolution, but it has one drawback in my situation. The battery is not removable nor did the description mention that fact. Why is this important? Simple. To recharge the unit, it has to be removed from the door for charging. This means that while the battery is being recharged, you will not have video or doorbell capability. It is a fine doorbell camera if you don’t mind this, but I prefer to have an extra, replaceable battery already charged to minimize the downtime.

This is a great doorbell cam. My favorite feature is that it charges and still has a battery. And the storage is local and built in. Its tamper resistant design works great. Only slightly problem is that we get notifications in summer during sunset that it is overheating, but so far it’s working great and is always around 90% charged. It seems like it is always running on AC and just topping off the battery but I could be wrong. The battery can also help in older houses with lower power input as supplemental power.

Very nice video doorbell cam. Using it right now for just an indoor cam looking out through a window until I can get it properly mounted to the outdoor wall. I upgraded so it would connect to my Homebase 3 and I like this newest model. Provides a large area of security. Very clear, even through glass window. Clear sound too. Great features, especially now that it's hooked up to the latest Homebase. Has many more options once connected to Homebase 3. Connected with the homebase and internet quickly and was ready to use in minutes. I like that it can hold a micro SD card for storage or be connected to the home base for more FREE storage. Very happy with this purchase.

When I first set up the doorbell camera, everything was great. The setup was easy, it connected easily to the internet, and I could see live streaming of the camera as well as past events. I even recommended it to someone else and they also bought one. However, a few days later, the camera started to have problems. It stops connecting to the internet, gives a P2P error when trying to view the live stream, and gives a decryption error when trying to view past events. It saddens me because in the beginning it showed such promise and I liked being able to use the camera without a subscription. But now, with these problems, it no longer serves the purpose for which I bought it. I have reported these issues through the app and I just receive the standard troubleshooting tasks. When I try those, it starts connecting for a few hours and reporting events, then resumes giving the same errors as before.

I love eufy products and technology. Firstly I ordered a brand. Es and the product delivered was an open box product, so I placed in the return request and it was easy to returned it and get a replacement the day after. The brand new product was great, easy to install and the app did the rest. I connected the ring camera to my front door lock and Alexa devices. It has preset answers, and you can adjust the motion detection at your convenience. The price is very convenient, quality of the video is great and the recording feature is the best. Im a big fan of eufy products and I also purchased the indoor camera and front door lock so more and more eufy devices supporting the security of my household
