Previously we had August and Yale and they constantly disconnected/reconnected with WiFi even after we installed a mesh system. This is a great smart lock the scanner scans the palm well haven't tried it with dirty ones but it's great I loved how easy it was to set up and how great is the connectivity liked the autolock features it is great value especially if you go with the max and the recognition is great I would add something to make it open faster but overall it's great

Easy to install but problem is in daily use. The palm scanner is a good idea but doesn’t read consistently. Your hand has to be perfectly positioned and several family members were unable to use at all. Finger print reader doesn’t work well for elderly family members. Not sure if bc hands are dry. Great concept but doesn’t deliver in real world use.

Lock are solid so far work good the problem I have is the front cover for the key and usb not staying in place constantly has to push back to position I call eufy support and they stupid digital assistant never send me to a technician, call many times all was waste of time staying speaking in different language or asking questions no relevant to my problem Update 12/15/25 After speaking with technical support via email, they agreed that situations like the one I was facing were unacceptable and informed me that they were working to resolve the computer problem. They also offered to replace the Lock I had purchased with a new one. Based on this experience, I believe I will remain a loyal customer of this company for the security of my home. After many years of use, I have never had a problem they couldn't solve. I have already received the new Lock , and as promised, it is the latest model and includes a camera. Thank you, Eufy, for everything.

Works really good, the hand scanner is very accurate, just wish it was a little faster, considering there are other palm vein door locks that are cheaper and scan faster. Maybe they can make it better in a firmware update? Besides that I like everything about the lock. Installation was easy and the app is very well made.

I got ALL Eufy products in my house and around and this one tops the cake for lock security. I got brand new doors put in and bought these to match the doorknob color. This product is great and i love the hands-free palm action. I be randomly playin with the door just to see if it will keep recognizing my palm and sure it does every time. Definitely worth the time

Oh WOW! Such a quiet lock. It's really cool and modern. Lot more features, easy to use, easy to install. No connectivity issues with wifi. Rechargeable USB c charging is a excellent thing. Main battery charges backup battery. It's really cool..... And then here comes butt. Plastic lock. It's not even half of the weight comparing kiwkset or schelog. It's a fancy "thing" and I'm pretty sure it can be smashed easily- which makes me worried whether it will protect my house or not. Value for money - may be, if it were built with other than plastic. Existing eufy ppl will get benefits, sync well. But... A big wonder...who designed the app! Really! No idea about UX, no principle of UX ever used. After all these complaints, I'm keeping it as I don't want to take out go thru return hassle, purchasing protection plan instead.
