Have a relaxing evening or choose a more invigorating setting and massage away the day’s aches & pains with Edgewater’s high-speed hydrotherapy. AquaLife’s user-friendly, state-of-the-art command center with digital, backlit display allows customization of temperature, jets, lighting, and filtration. Plug into any dedicated standard 120V/15A household outlet and you’re ready to enjoy. You also have the option to convert to a 240V electrical unit allowing your heater to perform at its maximum on the coldest days, which we recommend having professionally installed by a licensed electrician. Multicolor, programmable LED water columns, spa controls and underwater lighting adds ambience to your luxury spa experience. Perimeter insulation allows your spa to retain optimum heat from your Balboa all-season, stainless-steel heater all year long. Edgewater also comes with a heavy-duty, insulated tapered cover with locking clips allowing you to easily and comfortably close your spa while not in use. This is the second hot tub i have purchased made by Essential. The first was 15 years old when we sold our home and left it behind. Loved it! This one is even nicer! Easy to set up and use. Love it! This is our first spa. It was easy to set up and get started. It looks great and works well. The delivery was first rate, the delivery team brought it to our backyard and placed it on our patio, we filled it up with water and plugged it in to the existing outlet. The communication over delivery was incorrect. They said it would be delivered Monday and my husband took that day off to be home as they requested but it was delivered the prior Friday and we weren't at home. They left it in the driveway which was OK. We had to get some men and a trailer together to move it to the patio. My husband got the wiring done, hooked up and it works. He ran a 240 electrical line and added a breaker, conduit, boxes. The jets are not very strong (you can adjust jet pressures by twisting each nozzle but at their highest, their still not strong) and it's difficult to figure out how to use the minimal panel to get everything working. Would I buy it again? No. But it works, the water is hot, the jets run. Good for relaxing. ... show more

    • Delaminating and Amazon so far is doing nothing
Item was delivered 10/26/2024. Worked great for about a week. Called the manufacturer (as instructed by the paperwork that was provided when delivered) and they tell me that it’s an Amazon product and the warranty will be through them. I call Amazon today (11/15/24) after noticing that Amazon has the item listed as being returned (I had not yet requested any return yet). The person in customer service says they can’t do anything until it’s been correctly updated in their system and to give it another 3 days. But in the mean time I have to send them my ID and they need 3 days to call me back. I’m very upset that if their system never updates they say there is nothing they can do and no one else that can help me. Over $4000 spent and I may not get my warranty! Don’t buy from Amazon. Get it directly from the manufacturer!!!! UPDATE (11/18/24): Got on the phone and called Amazon again this morning and the rep sent an email for me to request the item to be picked up and sent back (even though its still wrong in their system) Filled out the form, hit submit, didn't get a confirmation or anything. I guess now I'll just wait to hear from them. I am using this review as a timeline so I will keep it updated. The concern to me is, on the email for the return it says that depending on the condition of the item I may just get a partial refund. The reason I am returning it, is because it is delaminating and its getting worse by the day so I assume that wont affect my refund. Update: tub was picked up on the 21st and amazon has stated we will get a full refund. Still waiting on the money to show as refunded on my card though. ... show more
