  • Great tub!
Color: Gray Granite
For the price this thing has been incredible. Well built and easy to set up. Couldn’t be happier

  • So Far Very Good
I bought this 20-jet Cobblestone model in part because of its relatively low price, in part because it has a variety of seats, each with a different jet arrangement, in part because it is round and thus can be rolled, and in part because it runs on regular 120 volt current. Getting it out of the pallet and rolling it into the back yard with the help of a neighbor was simple. The setup instructions were clear. I had to loosen one part inside and bleed off air to get the unit to start. After that, it heated up fast and worked smoothly. The jets are surprisingly strong (and can be turned down) and the design is conducive to long soaks from various angles. I plan to upgrade to 240 volts in the near future and use the tub year round. At this point, it has been in operation about 10 days, so a year from now I will be able to provide a deeper review. But so far, I am delighted with it. About a year ago I bought one of those inflatable models. It was nice, but a spa with real jets and built-in seats of different heights is vastly better. ... show more

  • Just what I was looking for.
Color: Gray Granite
First off, I am not writing due to the "Free Filters For Review" notice I received. I am writing because this Hot Tub is perfect for our needs. It is literally exactly what we were looking for. Those giant hot tubs for 6-8 people are too big, too hard to maintain, and too much money to run. This one fits perfectly in our space, was priced well, and since I converted to 240, it is very economical to run. If you are looking for a well made, easy to use hot tub, this is your huckleberry. Delivery was even excellent. They moved it right into the space for me. I live in Atlanta, and the nights (and some days) do get pretty cold. I was in it during 30 degree weather, and the water temp didn't drop a degree. Since I never had it on 120, I can't comment on how it would run on that, but after reading a bunch of reviews of people running on that power, I wanted to go to 240 for all the benefits it gives. Its been in for a few days now, and the whole family has enjoyed using it several times already. I do not normally leave reviews, but this one I had to go ahead with. It is truly a great machine for us. ... show more

  • Great price and works well even at 110v
So far I love this hot tub. It's very comfortable and keeps the heat. I created a video on YT (cant post here because not allowed). But if you go to YT and search "The Hot Tub Part 2. Essential Hot Tubs 20 Jet. Delivery and Setup" you will see my delivery and setup in full. It's fall in NY right now and in 40 degree days it keeps temperature no problem. I currently have it plugged into a dedicated 20amp 110v outlet since I already had on the outside of the house to see how it works. If it can't keep up with the heat when it gets really cold, then I'll wire it for 220v. But so far it's really holding heat fine. The jets are strong and honestly we've been using them on low because high is a little too high for our taste. Love the mixture of air that can be introduced to make more bubbles. On a cool 42 degree night using the tub for 30 minutes and jets/air, it lost 2 degrees in that time. Not bad if you ask me. If I didn't have the bubbles on high it probably would have dropped even less. I keep the tub at 100, so it dropped to 98 when we were getting out. I may bump it up to like 102 as it gets colder. The LED light is a nice touch as well. Looks good and gives plenty of light. The cover seems very well constructed and is a nice tight fit. The only reason I'm giving this tub 4 instead of 5 stars, is the clips for the cover need to be drilled and mounted to the side of the tub, but there is no flat spots on the tub to mount them too. I''ll still have to figure something out for that, but otherwise the cover fits snugly and stays in place even without being clipped down. Delivery was right on time and guys were great about bringing it into my backyard for me. ... show more

  • Just do it!
Color: Gray Granite
For 2,300 bucks delivered this tub is awesome! Pros: Made in the USA, I am a vet so that's high up on my list! The Seats are at different heights so you can regulate your body temperature by scooting left or right. High quality cover for 3 seasons, we will see how it does in the New England winter Nice American made Balboa internal components and control pad Bullet proof roto-molded design makes this thing way more substantial than I expected! Nice little multi-color light, but you don't need much. Great jets once the air is turned lounger gives an excellent back massage Temp seems to be on the high side of it's calibration range compared to my old coleman soft tub. Nice surefooted texture for easy entrance and exit. 110V works great so far, it's my only option in my town house so this is a relief! The grey looks much nicer then we thought it would. The Cover Valet NP509 Spa Cover Lift and Caddy works great with it The Confer Plastics Spa Handi Step, Dark Gray matches the color and contour of the tub perfectly. Cons: The Jets are weak without the air on. I am sure this will be a temp killer during the 4 winter months but something I can live with since I do not have a 220V option. I wish there was a 1/2 tub jet diverter which could make the water only jets more powerful for half the tub. When it's 40-50 degrees out the tub will drop 2-4 degrees an hour, but I knew this buying a 110V tub. Summary You have nothing to loose, I saw one on craigslist that was two years old and it sold for 1500 bucks in 7 days. The tub feels hotter than 104, it eases my morning stiff back and ankles so well and i am reaching for the Advil way less since I bought this tub! Update 11 months later I am still in love with this awesome tub! I shut it down for 4 months this winter and recommissioned it in March. I didn't realize how much I missed it! I had to buy a little pump to get the last 5% of the water out, bu then I just got a plank of wood and stood thing thing up on it's side and gave it a good cleaning. This is something you just cant do with a non-rotomolded tub. This thing is built like a tank! I need to use the strap wrench again to purge the air from the system, and then to my delight it fired right up! I have noticed that if i keep the jets running on setting one for an hour I can get the tub up to 105 degrees. This was my best purchase over the past few years, and I look forward to using it all the time. ... show more
