Why did you pick this product vs others?: I liked the minimalist design which is what drew me at first, however the product is not as sturdy as I expected. I performs quite well but I specfically chose this one because of the limited options I have on my dash. This phone holder holds my phone at an awkward angle that no other phone holder can because of it, however because of that when I come to a bump the base swivel may shift if I hit a bump. Additionally, I did not notice/realize it also has an additional magsafe so if your spouse or another individuals frequently drives your car you can slap the sticker to their phone so it holds if their phones does not have magsafe capabilities. Works well: The magnet is very strong and requires tilting the head to pull your phone off. This is not a problem for me since the magnet swivel is very easy to rotate by hand but not so easy that it moves if going over a bump.

There is room for improvement in the design. It has a clip you must push into the vent slits. Problem is MAYBE your vents are too narrow or maybe the vent at top or bottom is too narrow, because the rubber clip is very wide. So you may or may not have a fitment issue with the meaty rubber clip. BUT, even if it fits, as it does in my car, the lack of a holding "J" clip you see on other mounts means that the clip WILL slip slide as you move your phone left or right. When you move your phone on the magnet mount, this causes slight pulling out/dislodging in the back (regardless of the bottom holder). This is very fatiguing and annoying to have to always recalibrate the mount BACK INTO the VENT since the rubber clip can't HOLD it in place like the fish hook holder design. Aside of this the plate is VERY large. Too big and interferes with the consoles of the car and BLOCKS more vent air that it needs to. Finally, the magnet itself is solid. Very good and holds my HEAVY S23 Ultra just fine, especially with the bottom pillar clip. But as I said, if you move your phone side-to-side (as you may need to do with the shifting Sun), the clip will shift out causing car vibration if you don't recalibrate it back. So piece of advice is to make this large plate less wide and put a hook in the back and then you'll have a much more functional product.

I love the design, but the adhesive failed as soon as the weather warmed up significantly. Now I can’t get it back on. And yes I did follow the instructions exactly when mounting it.

Easy to install on vents, super strong magnet, and works great with my ESR MagSafe phone case. It’s heavy duty plastic, secure, adjustable and I don’t have issues either the phone or clip falling off of the vent.

Overall fit and finish feels really nice, HOWEVER, the swivel at the base of the mount is way too loose. I had to return and get a different mount because of this. If you need the arm in any other position than straight up or down, don’t get this mount. It will not support the weight of any phone with the arm out to the side. Please, ESR, make a revision and make the swivel lockable or more stiff and I would gladly buy this mount again in the future.
