Could not have been simpler to install and all the parts were well-crafted, but . . . I was really excited to receive these cross bars and after laying all the parts out to make sure I could complete the install, I had it measured, installed, adjusted and tightened down in under 45 minutes. It comes with the two Allen wrenches you need to install, but have measuring tape and a clean rag handy. The instructions, pretty nicely written, said there should be 27 inches between the bars. The instructions don’t suggest how far forward or back they should be. I think my installation, exactly 12 inches from the front of the roof rails, look great, but I am definitely hearing some air turbulence between the bar and roof, at speeds above 30 mph. It doesn’t help that my ID.4 is very quiet. The purr and rumble of a gas engine would probably negate the sound. :) I did see a Tesla that had the front cross bar further forward, so I might attempt moving both bars up 6 inches to see if that does anything. I doubt it, but it won’t be hard to make that adjustment. I’m sure the aero design of the cross bars keep things quieter, and I can’t blame the company for physics and aerodynamic principles. The quality of plastic on for the mounts isn’t quite the quality of Thule, but I also paid less than half of what the similar Thule crossbars would cost. The locking system seems stout and make stealing them hard to do. Does anyone steal crossbars? Oh yes, one last thing. I believe the top rubber strip, which is actually a hollow rubber tube that runs the length in a channel inside the cross bars has to be purely cosmetic. When you press the rubber strip on the top, it completely recesses so that it is level with the aluminum bars, creating no protection or cushion for things mounted. Someone, please explain how this has any function. I haven’t noticed a large drop in range for the first 100 miles travelled on my 2022 ID.4, but your mpkwh may vary. We’ll see how they hold up after a year. I’m thinking they’ll be fine. Great purchase! I give 5 Stars because of the mix of quality and value!

Good product, feels sturdy and easy to install. BE AWARE: there rubber feet that fit into the groves of the plastic connectors that are used to attach to the rails. There are no instructions about what they are for and how to attach them. They’re very good addition because their rubber feet that will protect your metal rails. One of the last instructions is to insert a small 1 inch device. It is very difficult to tell where it goes. It’s designed to cover the hole where the bolt is that you tighten. Once you lock it up, someone will not be able to get to that bolt because of this little 1 inch device. It is very difficult to tell where it goes from the instructions.

Fit very well on my 2022 ID.4 AWD PRO S, with black rails. Attachments have rubber padding to prevent scratching the roof rails. The install took less than an hour and taking my time. Construction is solid. The only negative comment is the rubber strip on the top of the cross bars is just a rubber tube that easily depresses into the bar. It would of been better if the rubber strip was solid. The instructions were fine, although the images are very dark and difficult to tell what they are addressing. Otherwise, the install was fairly straight forward. No trimming needed. Suggestions for install: put a thick blanket on the glass roof for protection during install. Also, use any type of a straight edge off the side window's frames for referencing the placement of the attachments. All in all, great price for the product. I would recommend this product.

They look cool, work well, assemble as illustrated, but instructions state low wind noise due to aerodynamic design...not so. Wind noise. Not terrible, just be aware.

These are NOT compatible with a panoramic sunroof (as indicated)! However, they are very well engineered, sturdy, and quality made. I plan on keeping them and will simply remove them when not in use. Once they are initially set up and installed, they are fairly easy to remove and store. 5 stars for the actual product & 3 stars for the fitment statement.

Looks good and fits good and the wind noise is almost nonexistent I can’t hear it at all when I have my music at 10% volume. The mounts do not touch the roof at all it is about a quarter of an inch off the roof. My only complaints is the instructions didn’t say to install the rubber grips and I got everything perfect just to realize I was stupid and forgot them. Overall the fit and finish is way better than I expected and it looks fantastic. I am able to open my sun roof in any position I want without interference too so that’s a plus. Overall I would recommend getting this roof mount over the over price rhino ones
