I was skeptical on if these would work as described and after reading some reviews I figured I'd try them for myself. I honestly don’t understand how some people are having problems with bleeding or tearing. These Koala decal sheets have been amazing for me, they print clean, hold color well, and transfer smoothly without falling apart. As long as you follow the directions, they work exactly as described and are super easy to use without the need to seal. Really happy with how my projects turned out and I’ll definitely be buying more since they are a great product at a great price.

I bought this paper to personalize mugs and thermoses, and I loved that it doesn't require a spray sealer. No pre spray. Images are bright and ink stays where put, no bleeding. It does rip so be careful when applying to surfaces. Watch the Youtube videos on howto apply. My new go to for waterslides. Can't wait for Koloa to come up with a clear waterslide.

Love this product, but please do not ship a paper product in a paper envelope, need to be shipped in a hard cardboard shipping container. If any of the edges are bent the material is no good. Mine were OK, but could have been easily damaged by insufficient packaging. Just a suggestion from the end user...

These don't work on metal. They SAY they work on metal, but I followed the directions EXACTLY (tripped checked them) to put some art on metal tins. I even did what they said with heating them. After they cooled they STILL wrinkled, scratched, and peeled off with NO effort at all. So I would rate adhesion as a 2 out of 5 stars, east of use as a 1 out of 5 (it's really hard to apply them with no wrinkles, way worse than stickers as you can stretch them out of shape if not really careful), and the look is... maybe a 3 out of 5. Maybe they work better on other services, but they are terrible on metal tins. Going to go back to vinyl as it looks nicer and is more durable. Normally this brand is great, but not this specific product.

I bought this product to personalize coffee mugs for family and friends attending my husband's retirement celebration. So, it was super important to get this right. I didn't want to embarrass or disappoint him with poor results. This was my first time doing a decal project. So, I have no experience with other products in order to provide comparison comments. In regards to my experience with the product, do yourself a favor and do a water submerge test before wasting time, money and effort. The packaging states that the smooth, whiter side of the paper is the waterslide. Nope. I wasted an entire pack of paper before realizing that I had printed on the wrong size. I found that out when I placed the printout in water and the waterslide was white and the print was on the backing :( I purchased more paper and started again. I'm pleased and relieved to say the mugs turned out great! The decal went on fairly easily once I got the hang of it. There was no problem with tearing. I was able to smooth out the decal by gently using a dry paper towel and my fingers. Placing the mugs in the oven as recommended, certainly was good advice. That seemed to seal the decal onto the cup. Now, that I know how to work with this product, I will definitely purchase it again. I gave a 3-star rating because the package instructions cost me a whole pack of paper and delayed completion of my project by two days while I waited for delivery another pack.

I make my own decals for my model railroad and my usual supplier of decal sheets is no longer an option. I was glad to find that Koala Paper produced a white, inkjet decal paper that didn't need a spray coating which is exactly what I used to buy from the other supplier. I have printed some decals and they came out very clear and colorful so I am anticipating many more uses of Koala Decal paper.
