I’ve had this chair for over a week now and have absolutely loved it! The seat itself is comfortable but I do have a seat cushion just to help protect and add extra comfort. Overall it took me 5 minutes to look over and inspect everything and 25 to actually assemble (I timed it). 30 minutes overall. Instructions were included in the seat packaging. The backrest is very comfortable. I love the back pocket as it holds my sketchbook, a book if I’m reading or my laptop if needed (my desk doubles as a nail painting area so it’s nice to have a safe spot to put my laptop). The tool that it came with was wonderfully easy to use. My 2 complaints: 1. During assembly, attaching the seat to the backrest was kind of tricky. If you have an extra set of hands, assembly could probably be reduced to around 10-15 minutes. It is doable, and manageable, on your own but if you have someone to help, I highly recommend asking. If not, assembly will take closer to the 30-35 minute mark. 2. I am 5’3”-5’4” and the armrests feel a little low for me but that could just due to me having short arms lol. Not a huge issue and I’ve gotten used to it. Overall I’d recommend this chair especially for smaller spaces and I love how flush it can go with desk without taking up extra bedroom space. ... show more

It was easy to put together I don't recall using any tools other than a screwdriver. The cushion is thick but not bulky, it's comfortable and the backrest high which adds support to the neck.
