First of all, I needed a new office chair since owning my previous leather one for 5+ years. The material began to crumble and degrade and it was time for a new one. I decided to go with an ergonomic chair with lots of adjustments so I could lounge, play video games, and do work in comfort without having to sacrifice proper body dynamics. This office chair was easy to assemble, using only the supplied allen wrench. Everything requires only hand tight and this chair is VERY sturdy. It's also quite heavy which is a warning to those of you whom might assemble this far from your office. The instructions could maybe be a tad more detailed and clear, but ultimately, this only took me 30 minutes to build and adjust. Having the full recline feature is really nice, especially with the tucked away calf rests, adjustable neck support and adjustable lumbar support. You can also move the seat forward or back depending on if you feel like typing upright or slouching. I would definitely recommend this chair for those needing something comfortable, yet, stylish, sturdy, and ergonomically correct.

We needed a new office chair for our intern and looked at several before deciding on this one. We made a great selection! This office chair is a high quality piece of furniture! My husband and I easily assembled it in about 15 minutes. The parts were clearly organized. It had a very nice set of directions with it, and all the screws were very clearly labeled. The directions were concise and had instructions and nice drawings to follow. They even added in three extra screws in case one is dropped and lost. When my husband was taking it out of the box, he noticed how substantial it was- he said “I’ve had a lot of office chairs in my 30 years of owning my own business, and this one is really high-quality.” You can tell by the material that it is made from and the sturdy feeling of the base. I love the extras of the lumbar support, comfy headrest, and the foot rest. It’s honestly as comfortable as some of our reclining chairs! The armrests are nicely positioned, and the chair fits my body type well (5’ 5) and my husband’s height of 5’11. I believe we have a great new office chair for a reasonable price!

I've been using the PatioMage Executive Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair for several weeks now, and as someone who works from home for 8-10 hours a day, I feel compelled to share how this chair has been a literal lifesaver for me. As a bigger guy at 6'2" and 300lbs, finding the right office chair that provides both comfort and support for long hours can be a real challenge. But let me tell you, the PatioMage has been a game changer. First off, the ergonomic design of this chair is something to rave about. It's like it was tailor-made for my body, aligning perfectly with the natural curves of my spine. The ability to adjust virtually every aspect of this chair – from the headrest, lumbar support, armrest, to the seat depth and height – has allowed me to find that sweet spot of comfort that I need for my long workdays. The adjustable seat depth, in particular, has been a standout feature. It's incredible how a small adjustment to fit my leg length can make such a significant difference in comfort, especially for someone of my size. The lumbar support deserves a special mention too. It has a lift and rotate feature that has provided my lower back with the kind of support I didn't even realize I was missing. It's been a huge relief for my back, especially on those longer workdays. Now, let's talk about the armrests. The 3D adjustability here is nothing short of impressive. They move up and down, forward and backward, left and right, ensuring my arms are always in the most comfortable position. And the materials! I used to get sweaty from my last office chair, but not with the high-elastic special soft mesh because it is both breathable and durable, making it perfect for sitting for long hours. The chair comes with a footrest, but I don't seem to use it much. They cut no corners with the build quality, from the moment you sit down you will feel nothing but a sturdy throne. I won't say it's been all roses, though. Getting the adjustments right took some time and patience, especially for someone of my size. Assembling this chair is a pain as it uses hex bolts, to which they provide a small tool. It would help to have a second person. This chair is also on the pricier side too, which might not fit everyone's budget, and it's a bit bulky, so make sure you have the space for it. Also, a few more color options would have been nice. But overall, if you're a bigger person looking for a high-quality, ergonomic office chair that can withstand long hours, the PatioMage is a solid choice. It's transformed my work-from-home experience, and I genuinely feel more productive and less fatigued at the end of the day. Just be ready for a bit of a learning curve with the adjustments and assembly!

Overall I am happy with this chair. I am not sure I can give 5 stars, but definitely more than 4. The first chair I ordered on Black Friday had an issue with the hydraulic system about 4 months in, but PatioMage was very quick to help me resolve. They offered me a brand new chair and is working great as of the time this review is written. Pros: (1) Directions are fairly clear for assembly. No additional tools needed outside of what is provided, but I would recommend a large work area to assemble efficiently. (2) Comfortable to sit in, even for long periods of time. (3) Seat and arm rests are easy to adjust and can accommodate many heights. (4) Sturdy - I don't expect the materials to break down anytime soon. Nothing looks "cheap". (5) Lumbar support has been great so far. Cons: This could be me being nit-picky, but I think these are important considerations. (1) No lock on arm rests. They can shift outward if, for example, your chair rotates into your desk. (2) No lock on the foot rest. I would prefer if the foot rest feature would not slide out unnecessarily. All-in-all, if you are looking for a gaming chair that isn't cheap material, but also doesn't break the bank, I think this one does the job.
