Price was great, delivery was super fast, alternator works great. People are writing bad reviews about having to grind off metal to make it fit. That is not correct at all! Like many alternators, there are metal bushings that need to be moved one direction or the other prior to the installation, and then when you tighten the bolts down, the bushings get pushed into the proper position by the bolt. On this particular application, there is one bushing in the alternator, and one bushing on the car. Both bushings need to be moved over prior to the installation. Mine went on perfectly. If I did not know about the bushing thing, then yes - I supposed I would have needed to grind metal to make it fit. I hope this helps some of you out there.

2011 Honda Odyssey J3528 Engine This was an excellent replacement. Went in easy and perfectly matched the Honda alternator exactly ( though it has a 13mm ground cap nut instead of 12mm). Engine purrs like a kitten. Make sure you press out the bushing on the 14mm mounting hole before you attempt to put in the new alternator. Anyone complaining it would not fit in or they had to grind something to get it to fit did not know what they were doing.

This was installed on a Sunday and failed on Thursday. The alternator was diagnosed and the amperage output was low due to single phasing because of a partially failed rectifier. The alternator was rebuilt at an additional cost of $200. Returning it was not an option as it caused the vehicle to breakdown in another state on a trip and we needed the fastest repair solution. It functions now after it has been repaired.

Like many automotive parts, I’m sure this fits many vehicles. I was doing a job on a 2013 Honda Pilot. The pivot that the 14mm bolt goes through was 45.1mm on my old alternator, and it was a tight fit. The new alternator arrived at 47.5 So yes- for this vehicle I needed to modify (grind down) the bushing or disassemble the alternator to remove it (it is flanged between the casing halves- you can’t just “press it out “. Everything else on the alternator was a perfect match. Every plug connector and hole diameter was identical. Just that silly steel bushing was too long. I really hope that was their only oversight and this lasts a long time.

Delivered fast. Product works amazing. Only issue was a metal sleeve where the adjustment bolt goes in, wasn't pressed in far enough. I had to grind it down.
