  • Nice comfortable chair Nice comfortable chair
Size: Standard Color: Black
For the money, this is a well built chair with a lot of great features. Husband put it together in about 30 minutes and had no issues. Instructions are well done. Tools came with it. Packaging was amazing. Very comfortable chair for my husband who is 6'3" and 320lbs. He loves the adjustable headrest. Cool and comfortable to use. Adjustable arm rests slide forward and back, side to side and flip up out of the way. No problem with the lumbar support. Fit and finish is great. ... show more

  • Comfortable and Stylish Chair with Just a Minor Assembly Issue Comfortable and Stylish Chair with Just a Minor Assembly Issue
Size: Standard Color: Black
Overall, this is a great chair, and I’m really happy with my purchase. The assembly process wasn’t too difficult, though I did encounter a bit of trouble when it came to attaching the headrest. It may have been something I was doing wrong, but that part of the assembly felt trickier than it needed to be. I think it could be designed in a way that makes attaching the headrest a bit easier. Aside from that, the rest of the assembly went smoothly and didn’t take too much time. In terms of comfort, the chair definitely meets my expectations. The seat is comfortable, and the support it provides is just right for long hours at the desk. This is my first time using a mesh chair, and I have to say, I’m impressed with how well it breathes. The mesh design keeps me cool and comfortable throughout the day, even during extended use. It’s a significant upgrade from the traditional padded chairs I’ve used in the past. The lumbar support is also a nice touch, and it helps me maintain good posture, which is important for me since I spend a lot of time working at my desk. The chair also looks great! The modern, sleek design fits well with my home office setup, and I love how it adds a touch of sophistication to the space. It’s not just functional but also stylish, which is a bonus. The neutral color and clean lines make it versatile, so it can fit into a variety of different spaces, whether at home or in a professional office setting. While I’m optimistic about the durability of the chair, especially with the mesh construction, only time will tell how long it lasts. I’m hopeful that it will hold up well over time, but as this is my first mesh chair, I’ll be keeping an eye on how it performs with daily use. So far, everything feels sturdy and well-built, and I don’t foresee any issues, but it’s always something to consider with a new type of chair. All in all, I’m really pleased with this chair. It’s comfortable, stylish, and relatively easy to assemble, with just a minor hiccup when it came to the headrest. If you’re in the market for a mesh office chair that offers good comfort and looks sharp, I would definitely recommend this one. It’s been a great addition to my workspace, and I’m looking forward to using it for years to come. ... show more

  • Comply chair
Size: Standard Color: Black
It was easy to assemble, and is a comfortable upgrade from my current chair. The headrest, back support and tilt are all great. I assembled the chair and relaxed in the chair and now I just want to buy a foot rest, and chill in the chair. The wheel base is strong enough that I am not worried at all about falling/flipping out if the chair if I give my full weight resting leaning back. No stability issues with the arms, head rest or back support. I agree with others that the seat is almost too small. I am a 5'11 250 with a 38" going 40" waist guy. If my hips were any wider, I do not think I would find the chair comfortable. The arm rests also only go so high, and I wish I could get them a bit higher. Taller folk beware. The mesh isn't too scratchy, which I've had problems with in the past. Pet owners beware, it catches the loose pet fur on your clothes, so in the future I may find that vexing. But for me, the chair does it's job, and I'm happy with the purchase. ... show more

  • Not a great seat, but the back support is good and the build quality seems quite good honestly. Not a great seat, but the back support is good and the build quality seems quite good honestly.
Size: Standard Color: Black
Disclaimer - this is an initial review - only had this chair a few days Size: 6'4" ~280lbs The good: the materials and build quality overall is pretty good, not sure what more you could want for a <$500 chair. The only thing that worries me is how long the mesh will last. I'd be happy with 3 years to be honest for the price ($180 at time of purchase). The lumbar/cervical neck support is very good. This is pretty much why I bought it. It will help me force myself into a good posture since my neck is such a mess, both lumbar and cervical. The head rest is actually quite good. It could be slightly stiffer to stay in place maybe, but it's pretty nice. The smell - call me weird but the smell of new plastic in a room for a day or two is a pro not a con for me. It honestly looks pretty nice, not a huge plus for me but it does look sleek. The bad: The reviews saying the seat is uncomfortable are right....at least so far as it is a very narrow seat. If it was ~3-4 inches wider, it would be a 10/10 chair for me at least on initial use. The edges are a bit harsh on your hips if you are north of a 38" pants size. If you're sitting pretty straight, not really a problem. The mesh feels fine, it's not as good as a cushion but the tradeoff of breathability is worth it I would say. What I did right off the bat to help with comfort a bit was get some pipe insulation foam I had laying around in the garage, cut it in half, and lined the front half of the seat underneath with it. Just kinda stuffed it in there up against the edges as much as I could. Does it help? Actually....kinda, ya. I'd say it makes it a good 15-20% more comfortable at the edges. Picture attached (you can kinda see through and see what I did). Edit: I used the other half of the foam for the back half. So I completely lined the edge underneath with pipe insulation. It does actually help. I also figure this will keep the edges of the mesh from fatiguing as quick since it shouldn't pull down on it as harshly over time. The casters it comes with are pretty bad. If you buy a chair for <$500 though, you should be buying a ~$15-20 set of roller blade casters to swap in. I ran the stock casters for a day as the roller blade ones I got here on Amazon for $16 didn't come until the next day. The stock ones work, but they're quite slow. In my opinion, any reviews saying that the caster input area welds failing were partly due to the stock casters being slow in the first place. This makes you need to push more, and puts more pressure on these spots - making it more prone to failure. The welds to me don't look bad to be honest, and it doesn't worry me - if they failed I'd just reweld them myself. The arm rests are way too adjustable. They are honestly not bad, but they don't need any more adjustment than literally just going up and down. THIS WAS THE #1 REASON FOR NARROWING MY SEARCH DOWN TO THIS CHAIR - for playing guitar flip-up armrests are a must for me, which narrows down the search dramatically, as anyone reading this knows. But the arm rests aren't bad. Conclusion: As a big guy, this is a good chair that will help with posture. The seat is too narrow if you are size 38 or greater pants - it's undeniable. Hopefully the mesh holds up - if that is the case I'll be plenty happy for the price. If this chair gets a better version in the future with literally just a wider seat, I will absolutely buy it when this thing is worn out in (hopefully) like 3 years. NOTE: THE TOP LUMBAR SETTING ISN’T A SETTING IT IS THE RESET. So many people in reviews, including myself thought the lumbar didn’t stay set - it does, just the top most spot is NOT a setting it is meant to unlock it and reset to the bottom. ... show more

  • It’s not comfortable. Id like to return it. It’s not comfortable. Id like to return it.
Size: Standard Color: Black
To be honest. I had high hopes for this chair. Now. I hate it, I don’t know who is sitting on this for extended time. I can’t. Its supposed to be for bigger people. Im not huge. Its not wide enough with the arms down. I changed the wheels because it didn’t roll correctly. I added a pad because its too firm. The mesh is supposed to be more comfortable. The support is more stiff than relaxed. The design of the head rest is awkward. You’re supposed to be able to adjust it. It got locked into place. Now the height of it is too low. I misplaced the directions. I know there is a way to re-adjust it. Its just not clearly noticeable; such as a knob or button. As far as quality, its well made, as far as sturdiness goes. The thing is that when i go to sit down, there is that lip in front. I have to have an arm down on the chair, hold onto it, then sit down, otherwise the chair rolls away and I would fall on my butt. So, in that way- its not really safe. Even though I have this cushion on it, its still hard and my back hurts all the time Im sitting there. Not immediately, but soon afterwards. If I could return it, I would. That’s the thing about furniture, tho, isn’t it? Once its together, you can’t really take it apart and rebox it and send it back. It takes a week or so to figure it. Then the box is gone. Maybe if it were a little higher. I don’t know. Im fairly sure its all the way up. So yeah. Make sure your surface is really flat. Even changing the wheels doesn’t help. It moves well enough when you’re not in it. But trying to get in it and moving around in it is a different story. Also. I always feel like I’m leaning forward unless I intentionally sit back against against the back of the chair. Then it feels awkward where the headrest is and the back support. I don’t know. Im not a happy camper. Its the second mesh chair. Neither are actually comfortable. There really isn’t enough padding if you’re a bigger guy. This is supposed to support up to 400lb. Well its not breaking, but it’s also not comfortable. ... show more

  • Well Made Chair
Size: Standard Color: Black
I selected this chair for it's weight capability and lack of fake leather. It appears to be well designed. The mechanism and wheel assembly is heavy steel. The seat bottom, seat back and head rest are plastic but are substantial. I expect it to hold up well. Assembly was not difficult, the hardware was packaged and clearly labeled. The surprise was how uncomfortable the chair is. The seat has an open mesh stretched over it, and it is very rigid. It doesn't give at all. The other issue is the recline resistance cannot be adjusted to allow a six foot person to recline. I am constantly concerned that I am about to topple over backwards. Update: I was able to increase the tension in the seat back. The tension adjustment knob was stiff, but after turning it quite a bit, enough tension was dialed in so that I can sit comfortably. Increased rating to four stars The seller contacted me and helped with the two issues I had with the chair. I now have a comfortable, well made office chair. I appreciate their efforts to ensure I was satisfied with my purchase. I would buy from them again. ... show more

  • Would I buy it again? Definitely. Do I recommend it to others? Definitely.
Size: Standard Color: Black
Easy to assymble. Manufacturer provided good, clear instructions with the product. Now to the comfort factor. First off I've had back problems for years ever since I was on Instructor Duty at the EW school in Pensacola, Fl. In just the few days I've owned this chair my back has shown tremdous improvment. The lumbar support takes a little getting used to but once you have it adjusted correctly the chair is very comfortable. It actually forces you to sit with better posture. Would I buy it again? Definitely. Do I recommend it to others? Definitely. This is great chair and I feel lucky to have caught it on sale. Once again, highly recommended. ... show more

  • The seat does NOT tilt
Size: Standard Color: Black
One of the primary reasons I selected this item is that the product page clearly shows a tilting seat. Be advised that the seat does not tilt as the various product pictures show. The seat is wider than most chairs in this category. and the mesh allows it to conform to natural contours rather than forcing your body to adapt to a hard shape. Pressure points are much alleviated. The chair otherwise appears to be well-designed and the mesh seat is very comfortable. The tilt/recline mechanism allows the chair to tilt backward much further than any chair I've tried. The arms feature a swinging design that allows the armrests to pivot outward. At first glance this seems to be a helpful feature. But in use. the pivot mechanism does not hold tightly enough. This allows the arms to pivot outward as you stand. The movement can be disconcerting or even painful as you pinch fingers against a hard surface. I can find no way to tighten it. Overall, the chair seems to be comfortable and well made with some design features that are not well thought out or are poorly executed. I am weighing whether the various small complaints will turn to truly bothersome issues over a long period of time. it is comfortable to sit on. I am about 220 lbs and six feet tall with average overall dimensions. ... show more
