  • Loving this chair!
Color: Grey Size: Standard
I’ve been loving this chair so far. It feels very sturdy and well-built, and the mesh back is comfortable and keeps me from getting too hot during long periods at my desk. The lumbar support is great, and there are plenty of adjustments to get the chair set up exactly how I like it. My only small complaint is that I wish the seat was just a little wider and deeper. It’s still comfortable, but a little extra room would have made it pretty much perfect for me. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the chair. It feels supportive, solid, and comfortable even after sitting in it for hours. Easy 5 stars from me, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a sturdy ergonomic office or gaming chair. ... show more

  • quality
Color: Black Size: Standard
I am honestly shocked how well this was packaged! not one part came out loose. things were packaged together but inside that packaged also. High quality parts. The bolts/screws had the lock tight stuff around the threads. Definitely no question if they were tight enough. Easy to follow directions. Only step 5 isnt labeled like the others, But Easy to open the package and see which one you need. All the tools you need came with it. The Allen wrench actually had a decent handle on it. The barch support feels great. It's comfortable for now. we will see how many hours until its not. Most of the bolts came with one extra. Out of the many things I have bought and had to put together, This one! freaking awesome. It looks good, besides the chrome pieces cover the bolts, I can change that. So far ,new, there is no noise from it. ... show more

  • It’s not comfortable. Id like to return it.
Color: Black Size: Standard
To be honest. I had high hopes for this chair. Now. I hate it, I don’t know who is sitting on this for extended time. I can’t. Its supposed to be for bigger people. Im not huge. Its not wide enough with the arms down. I changed the wheels because it didn’t roll correctly. I added a pad because its too firm. The mesh is supposed to be more comfortable. The support is more stiff than relaxed. The design of the head rest is awkward. You’re supposed to be able to adjust it. It got locked into place. Now the height of it is too low. I misplaced the directions. I know there is a way to re-adjust it. Its just not clearly noticeable; such as a knob or button. As far as quality, its well made, as far as sturdiness goes. The thing is that when i go to sit down, there is that lip in front. I have to have an arm down on the chair, hold onto it, then sit down, otherwise the chair rolls away and I would fall on my butt. So, in that way- its not really safe. Even though I have this cushion on it, its still hard and my back hurts all the time Im sitting there. Not immediately, but soon afterwards. If I could return it, I would. That’s the thing about furniture, tho, isn’t it? Once its together, you can’t really take it apart and rebox it and send it back. It takes a week or so to figure it. Then the box is gone. Maybe if it were a little higher. I don’t know. Im fairly sure its all the way up. So yeah. Make sure your surface is really flat. Even changing the wheels doesn’t help. It moves well enough when you’re not in it. But trying to get in it and moving around in it is a different story. Also. I always feel like I’m leaning forward unless I intentionally sit back against against the back of the chair. Then it feels awkward where the headrest is and the back support. I don’t know. Im not a happy camper. Its the second mesh chair. Neither are actually comfortable. There really isn’t enough padding if you’re a bigger guy. This is supposed to support up to 400lb. Well its not breaking, but it’s also not comfortable. ... show more

  • Do you like living on the edge? Buying a chair online is risky!
Color: Black Size: Standard
Paid ~$200. Price is rising. Knowing what I know now I would buy another at ~$250. There's only so much can be said for a seat you can not test for literally hours at a time. I grabbed this on a gamble. It has mostly paid off. It is not the most comfortable chair I've used. It DOES vaguely pinch on the sides of my thighs - but it is comfortable enough _FOR ME_ to sit in for hours at at a time. At 5'11", 220lbs I would NOT recommend this for ANYONE heavier. And likely not for anyone taller. For me? It has been OK. If you're smaller, and lighter, but sport a waist line wider than ~38" I would NOT recommend this chair. Hard to gauge any individual's proportions, but suffice to say, I am at the comfortable width, weight, and perhaps height capacity for this chair. South of my measurements? It's probably 'OK'. Be honest with yourself. Be really honest with your measurements. I'm laying it all out here on account of how risky it can be to buy a chair you never sat upon. Women especially gonna be a bit wider set in the hips than me. So don't be surprised if the 5 foot waif weighing less than half of me finds more than a mere slight pinch on her beautiful saddle bags. See: there IS pressure at the sides of my hips, but it has genuinely been fine. My immediate impression after first sitting on this thing was "oh no" But after hours of work in front of the computer I am still pleased enough to continue sitting. I figure you could do better, but these mesh chairs are always kinda lame, even the top end Herman Millers are notorious for odd ribs or struts pinching people the wrong way, and the mesh itself has a tendency to roll hip joint in themselves in an unnatural way that foam or even hard wood seats will not. The only thing these mesh chairs have going for them is a breathable butt, and even that is somewhat dubious. But I'm a male, and we run hot, so the luxury of a box fan directed beneath the family jewels commands something of a premium. Against my better judgement I rolled the die on this one and came out on top. Points of note Recline It's fine - has three stages to the tilt on a ratchet, so whereever you posture it remains at that incline until hitting those paddle things again. Pretty great, actually. First - neutral stage - it's comfortable enough. I don't like it, but have sat on it for hours with that posture. Second stage - slightly reclined - is where I usually adjust. Bad posture. I slouch and lounge. It worked perfect for me. If you're prim or proper posture type you may have a better/worse experience. Third stage is near full recline. I love it. I don't get any work done that way, but get yourself a monitor arm and direct a display at a high angle and it's a nice alternative for watching media or even reading. Peak degenerate incline. Use with caution. But bring your own foot rest. I put my feet on the desk! Full chair relines. This is not one of those arrangements where the back rest leans, causing occupants to slowly melt out. No, the seat tilts accordingly also, securing our lazy butts in a bucket of sorts, guaranteeing you will remain in your seat no matter how long you fall asleep while on the clock. Head rest It mostly works. One requirement I had was a head rest. Last thing I want to do when reclining is have to support my head. Madness. It's not bad. Again, I can reline like that for hours. Arm rests are something of a mixed bag. On the one hand, they fold away completely, a feature absent from dozens of competing products - including numerous premiums brands - that immediately ruled them out from my consideration. On the other hand they're somewhat dubious, having three axis for adjustment. You can rotate the pads. Extend the arms... and extend the arms further. Three axis! I don't really have any complaints. I just don't get any use out of the adjustments. Better they're there than not. But I'm not sure anyone shorter would benefit given the options, and I wouldn't recommend anyone taller, so.... Take this whole rating and review with a grain of salt. For what it is worth, I spent days scouring reviews for every mesh chair I could find. This one SEEMED to have fewer complaints of odd geometry that poked or jabbed people in sensitive areas, or and nothing consistent. So I felt confident that if anything DID arise as uncomfortable, it was unique to me, much as the few complaints I did find here. I absolutely can't speak for any of you personally but as of now with a few hundreds hours on this contraption, I can affirm my prediction that there is nothing objectively WRONG about this chair's design. Nothing is uncomfortable making me want to get up after 15 minutes... or 5 hours. Boredom will probably get to you before the deep vein thrombosis. That's pretty much the most I can ask for out of an office chair. Will it work for you? How much do you like gambling? Between price, comfort, and integrity, this one has all around been a winner for me. One star nicked for QA. You're gonna note all sorts of little burrs or rough edges, hinges left and right that behave different. Keep those provided Allen wrenches handy. It is likely something will need tightening. In my case, the left arm wrest hinge unwinds itself. For all that COULD go wrong, and what we would expect out of customer support, I consider myself extremely fortunate and above all, blessed. For anyone else that won't be so fortunate: You are seen. Probably not seen by CAPOT. But I see you. I see you, and thank God I am not you. You have my prayers. In all seriousness, I hope CAPOT support is great and they succeed. This chair is really as much as I could ask for. I would buy another if I had another office space, even granting the inflating price for all the reasons everyone would expect from early 2025. Paid ~$200. Looking at $230 at time of this review. I would still buy at that price. ... show more

  • Comfortable and Stylish Chair with Just a Minor Assembly Issue
Color: Black Size: Standard
Overall, this is a great chair, and I’m really happy with my purchase. The assembly process wasn’t too difficult, though I did encounter a bit of trouble when it came to attaching the headrest. It may have been something I was doing wrong, but that part of the assembly felt trickier than it needed to be. I think it could be designed in a way that makes attaching the headrest a bit easier. Aside from that, the rest of the assembly went smoothly and didn’t take too much time. In terms of comfort, the chair definitely meets my expectations. The seat is comfortable, and the support it provides is just right for long hours at the desk. This is my first time using a mesh chair, and I have to say, I’m impressed with how well it breathes. The mesh design keeps me cool and comfortable throughout the day, even during extended use. It’s a significant upgrade from the traditional padded chairs I’ve used in the past. The lumbar support is also a nice touch, and it helps me maintain good posture, which is important for me since I spend a lot of time working at my desk. The chair also looks great! The modern, sleek design fits well with my home office setup, and I love how it adds a touch of sophistication to the space. It’s not just functional but also stylish, which is a bonus. The neutral color and clean lines make it versatile, so it can fit into a variety of different spaces, whether at home or in a professional office setting. While I’m optimistic about the durability of the chair, especially with the mesh construction, only time will tell how long it lasts. I’m hopeful that it will hold up well over time, but as this is my first mesh chair, I’ll be keeping an eye on how it performs with daily use. So far, everything feels sturdy and well-built, and I don’t foresee any issues, but it’s always something to consider with a new type of chair. All in all, I’m really pleased with this chair. It’s comfortable, stylish, and relatively easy to assemble, with just a minor hiccup when it came to the headrest. If you’re in the market for a mesh office chair that offers good comfort and looks sharp, I would definitely recommend this one. It’s been a great addition to my workspace, and I’m looking forward to using it for years to come. ... show more

  • Replacement Chair Base Recommended
Color: Black Size: Standard
I would love to give this product 5 stars, as the chair itself is WONDERFUL. Very comfortable, great for back support, and the ability to make micro-adjustments for lumbar support are game changing. After just over 1 year of daily usage for work, the material is still in great shape, very breathable, and comfortable. Unfortunately, the portion of the chair legs where the wheels attach have broken twice within the past 5 months. I reached out to the seller initially, and they graciously provided a replacement leg the first time free of charge, but now the leg has broken a second time in the 2 months since the initial replacement (I did not reach out for a second leg replacement). For context, the chair is rated up to 400 lbs and I am ~250 lbs, so my weight being that far below the limit could be a contributing factor? Either way, I do not think that metal chair legs should not be breaking at the welding point when the user is well under the max weight limit. I have opted to purchase a replacement chair base from another seller as well as a floor mat in hopes that this will remedy the issue. The chair itself is 11/10. The base is 3/10 with regular usage, at least in my experience. ... show more

  • Supportive, Customizable, and Surprisingly Comfortable for Long Hours
Color: Black Size: Standard
After spending 8+ hours a day at my desk, I finally upgraded to the CAPOT ergonomic mesh chair—and the difference is night and day. It’s not just a chair, it’s an adjustable support system designed for serious desk work. ✅ Pros Comfort: The seat cushion is firm yet breathable, and the mesh back keeps me cool even during long sessions. Lumbar support is adjustable and actually targets the lower back instead of just being decorative. Durability: Frame and components feel solid—no wobble or flex after assembly. Rated for 400 lbs, and it absolutely feels like it could handle that without strain. Weight: Despite its heavy-duty rating, it’s surprisingly lightweight when rolling or repositioning thanks to the smooth PU wheels. Custom Fit: Between the 3D headrest, 4D flip-up armrests, and 3-level tilt lock, I was able to dial in the perfect seated position. Great for switching between typing, video calls, and relaxed browsing. Color: The matte black finish with subtle texture gives it a professional and understated look—perfect for a clean setup. Ear/Head Support: The headrest cradles comfortably behind the neck and base of the head, reducing fatigue without forcing posture. Low noise level. ❌ Cons Armrest Adjustments Take Getting Used To: Lots of movement axes, which is great—just not intuitive at first. Assembly Takes Time: While everything is labeled and packed well, it took me a solid 40 minutes with careful attention. 📝 Final Thoughts The CAPOT chair nails what most office chairs miss: true adjustability without feeling gimmicky. If you’re someone who switches between focused work and laid-back browsing, this chair adapts right along with you. It’s now a core part of my productivity setup, and I’d confidently try other CAPOT ergonomic products moving forward. ... show more
