  • Easy set up, great picture, no projector screen or repainting white walls.
Color: Black
I received it today and my husband set it up as soon as we got home. The box was large and the unit well protected. It works perfectly (just need to learn all the controls and fine tuning for the picture we like). It's currently on our old TV Stand facing our white, dirty wall (with some spots here and there). As long as we don't have a fully white image, the picture and colors are good enough to hide the imperfections. It's night with a bright lamp on in the room and the brightness settings are low but we can still see the image clearly. In the daytime hours, I expect to increase the brightness but I think the image will still be clear (will update if it isn't). Important items to me not in any particular order of importance: 1. I can hear the sound clearly without going to max volume and still turn it up if I feel like it. 2. I can see the image in all lighting environments and it's not pixilated, too uneven, or warped. 3. Gives me more space where my TV was located. 4. Easy to relocate when I feel like it (will need to redo the sertings when this happens). 5. Remote Control available. 6. Capabilities to link a device to watch video apps or video apps installed. End . It's great just the way it is in our home. No repainting the wall. No projections screen. I'm happy. Hubby has more requirements he wants that I don't know about. It's meeting his standards too. He's usually picky on having HD or UHD images but it's good enough for him as is for now. We'll see if we get a projector screen or paint the wall later. ... show more

  • Review
Color: Black
This is one of the best things I purchased along with the 150 inch screen. The picture is clear and adjusting is simple. Make sure to use the settings to help adjust to whatever size screen you have.

  • Bad customer service policy, OK quality, breaks quickly Bad customer service policy, OK quality, breaks quickly
Color: Black
The unit works well, but received it with two broken hdmi ports (ports 1 and 2). When I connect a firestick, I can see the input from the input options but when I switch to it the projector simply says "The video is unexpectedly unavailable". I connected the fire stick because when I tried to use the native android TV apps to stream (like YouTube or Hulu) they show as only purple and green colors that are streaks on the screen (picture attached). This coloring only happens when I hit play on a video. On the home screen of the projector or the home screen of the apps, everything looks fine. I didn't know about the hdmi issues until now since I hadn't needed to connect one before. Only hdmi3 works. Now I cannot use the native android TV softwear, I need two remotes to operate the projector and the firestick, and there is zero customer support. When I called for help they simply told me it is out of warranty so I have to either buy a new one (at cheapest a refurbished one) or I need to pay for shipping to send it to Indiana, pay for a diagnostic fee, and then have an estimate given on cost. Customer service let me know that it might be cheaper to buy a refurbished replacement but that they cannot estimate a price to fix it. If I don't decide to have it fixed, I have to have it shipped back at my own cost. The wait time for it to be repaired can be a few weeks. Overall very bad customer service policy (the people themselves are kind), no guarantee of fixing it, no external help, and no help without having to pay hundreds of dollars so they can tell me how many more hundreds (or 1000+) dollars to get it repaired. I would not recommend. All of this after only having shy of 4200 hours of operation over 3 years. ... show more

  • EPSON, Great picture and decent gaming, but the best?
Color: Black
I got mixed feelings on this projector. The picture is quite nice and the brightness is there, this all depends on the source quality of course. It's paired with a 120" alr screen. One complain is text and navigating menus looks low resolution. Probably because it's not a true 4k projector. The biggest pain is the butt is setting this screen throw right. The throw is super short which is great but man is it hard to line up each corner correctly with a mounted screen. The two front legs can raise and lower but i had a very hard time and it's still not perfect. In game mode you can't adjust the picture settings. The max brightness you can only get in dynamic mode, and I never use it fully bright anyway. Remote could be fancier and light up, remote reception is weak so I bought a rf extender which has been Great. I havent had any other projector but I would say skip this one and get whatever the newest, latest and greatest is. ... show more

  • Amazing projector, and great for gaming
Color: White
This projector is fantastic. It has great color, an app that can adjust for wall waviness if you don't have a screen where you are using it, amazing blacks and whites, and keeps up with gaming with no trouble. Would definitely recommend. We do have a screen, but we haven't put it up yet. We just haven't gotten around to it, and the projector looks so good even without it. To be fair, we do have a pretty great area for a projector. We don't have a dedicated theater room, but it is in a basement room with half windows covered with blackout curtains on either side. It works rather well. My only gripe is that the physical size of the projector is big enough that it was a bit of a hassle to hunt down a surface to sit it on. We ended up with a coffee table. I'm not in love with it, but it works. We do have some added difficulty due to having to find something rather low to the ground since the ceilings are only 8ft in the room it is in. ... show more

  • Epson EpiqVision Ultra LS800 (black) UST
Color: Black
Received the Epson EpiqVision Ultra LS800 (black) Ultra Short Throw (UST) projector over the weekend. Didn't have a in-person frame of reference previously, but wow! Really, really impressed. Was eyeballing the DLP USTs but read up on the concerns with the potential of dead pixels in DLP and it was enough to steer me toward the LCD UST. Pairing the Epson with a 110" screen from Elite Screens (Aeon Series) and again, just wow! Had to make some adjustments with our media center height (needed lowering) and was then able to manually adjust screen size with the projector just about perfectly. Also using an existing Sony soundbar with sub and rear bluetooth speakers while and also using the Epson's built-in speaker to add a cinematic aspect with existing sound system which is an added game changer. Don't love Android OS and their user interface (just personal preference) that also doesn't allow for exFAT formatted USB thumb drives, but I knew that going in. Also, be very mindful if your looking to make adjustments while the UST is projecting. Has a motion sensor that detects movement to shut off but not always immediately and being an ignorant newbie to the process, just about temporarily blinded myself several times. Fixed that by setting remote control to go on standby by tapping the power button anytime I feel I need to approach the UST to make adjustments while in use. Its an easy tap the power button again after and the UST comes back within like 5 seconds. Still a pretty significant monetary investment as of May 2025 ($~3.5K US Dollars) but thoroughly enjoying the experience thus far! ... show more

  • The fan is a little loud
Color: White
If you're using this for a home theater where the surround sound will be loud, you probably won't notice the fan. But if you have the volume turned down for easy listening you will likely notice it, unless you're old and deaf 😂 Definitely download the App to set up the projector screen. 10x easier. Kind of compatible with my Onkyo receiver and Amazon fire stick ... show more

  • I can't recommend this. I can't recommend this.
Color: Black
I can't give a proper review. all I can say is it's big and the colors on screen suck. Other then that I couldn't get it to work nor could the nice lady on Epson support line. I turned on the projector and everything was fine at first. I got to Google home and I started to watch YouTube. I could not get it to focus. I spoke to Epson and they said the focus is in the positioning of the projector. There are no option. So strike one. I moved this thing every direction. I'm very tech savy and not slow at all. this thing is broke or it just a blurry image. The tech support lady told me to update the projector. I get a notification to update the projector. I'm like that's it. All it needs is an update problem solved. Nope! It completes and installs. Everything is going well, except the focus is still off. it really blurry. I'm using a CLR screen from elite screens. So there nothing wrong with my screen. After it restarts and complete the update. I get back to Google home again. I play YouTube and then it goes blank and the fans are going high speed and the light is flashing on and off. I figure maybe it's loading it something. It does that for next 30 minutes and it finally stops. No picture though. So I turn it off and power it back on. still no image. I call Epson back. They said to check my HDMI cords and they were good then they recommend to unplug it for 30 seconds. That did work. Oh except I have a message that says play back has been stopped for safety reasons. What safety reasons. This stupid thing thinks the air is a person? I got a bad batch. It works then it doesn't. Buy at your own risk. ... show more
