The media could not be loaded. Very light and compact. Easy to setup; after manually focusing, the picture is very sharp. I still haven't installed the white fabric screen, but overall, it looks cool on the ceiling, and though you can easily see the texture of the cedar boards, the experience is still awesome, like a real theater. It's my first projector; I picked it by doing some research online, and I see why this one is great value. The colors are vivid, the brightness is great (1000), which is perfect for indoors; I would say more than expected. Sometimes I feel like reducing the brightness, but then realize it's so juicy and vivid that I keep it this way. The screen size I got from placing the projector behind the bed on a stand is about 150" in comparison to my 65" TV. This is a huge difference, a true cinematic feeling, especially with the subwoofer under the bed and speakers underneath pointing to the sides. It gives the theater vibe, fireworks, action movies, all of which look great. Still have to install the white screen, but even now it's a 5-star investment. There is also a hole for the tripod, which is M4x4, basically a 4mm-diameter screw, so most common 6.5mm tripods from DSLR cameras will not fit unless you buy a screw adapter. For tiny tilt, there are pop-up plastic feet, which is a nice bonus in case you place the projector on a shelf or table. The fan in projector is low noise, when it's behind the bed, I can hear it in full silence, but as soon as something playing, the fan noise is absolutely unnoticeable. I haven't bought Refurbished product before, but though why not to try, if something goes wrong, it's amazon, should be easy return. The projector came in a box, there was flat carton board inside, which the projector was sealed with a plastic film to, there was no chance it's moving slightly in the box, absolutely protected form during shipping. It came with batteries, power adapter, manual, remote. Everything clean, no sign of fingertips, looks like new, my first experience of refurbished product in general, and first on amazon, and I glad I gave it a try, saving good money, while getting perfect projector. ... show more

Compact, book size. Metal body, low heat. Low noise fan -33dB. 1920*1080 resolution. Laser does the job - brightness as advertised, 262 lx * 3.6 m2 =950 lumens of white screen, a bit dimmed by color presets. Has detailed color tuning RGB menu. 1 mount point screw hole, retractable front peg to tilt on table. Seems designed for portable business purpose, to project close, from table, front up. On larger distance requires around 25 degrees tilt and zoom out picture to make field smaller (built in zoom/tele). Seems having non-advertised autofocus. No smart features, no OS, no apps, no bluetooth, no wifi etc, which is very good to me. Power supply is external, laptop-like. 1 3.5 audio out port, 1 USB A, 1 USB mini-B, 1 HDMI. Kensington lock hole. It excess expectations for home use, way above the range of home lamp/LED projectors available under 800-1K. ... show more

This is a nice projector, although a little more on the spendy side. My 3 and a half year old DBPower started to get a burn area in the image and it was becoming hard to watch (especially light scenes like snow). Went the big blue store and saw several projectors and TVs. My theater screen is a 100" electric motorized screen mounted over a closet. The room is not good for a TV but is great for projectors because I can darken it and it is a good shape for a home theater. I was able to re-use my ceiling mount but needed to make a trip to the hardware store with my new EF11 to get three smaller screws. Also, because the EF11 uses an external power adapter, I had to pony up for a $30 25" power cable to run from the outlet to the AC adapter. I'll post more pictures later but I did a good job with the installation. One thing that I didn't like is that since this is a digital zoom, is that if you mount the projector too far way from the screen and you resize the image, there is still a light area that extends beyond the image and that was distracting so I had to move my mount closer to the screen and re-install it. Now it is perfect. Need to patch some holes in my ceiling. Since I went from a bulb type projector to this laser projector, I was blown away by the image. Even though this is less lumens than my old projector, the image is by far more vibrant. The colors really pop. There is a lot of control that the user has over the image and the operator just needs to tweak them to their liking or use the presets. Looking foward to my movie nights again. ... show more

Was excited to get it for my bedroom. But the sound and image quality was not too great not worth the money spent will be looking for a new one. Not recommended to buy or try it out.

I originally tried the Samsung Freestyle but ended up returning it because the shadows were just too dark. When I hooked up the Epson Mini I immediately noticed a huge difference and I resolved that it was because the lumens were double what I was seeing before. The brightness is fantastic. However, in daylight it is still difficult to see the picture. You would need a larger projector for that purpose. I decided to go with the EF11 because I wanted to use my own sound bar and I'm glad I did. I don't miss the smart connectivity because I hooked it up to my Xbox where I can stream and game. I went with a wireless audio transmitter and receiver to use the aux with a portable speaker. A little bummed there is no Bluetooth connectivity but there's ways around that. It's very portable and I was able to find everything I needed on Amazon to make a fully portable home theater system. Overall I am very happy. ... show more
