I initially was going to return the scooter because the person I purchased it for didn’t want to use it because of the stigma of having to use a mobility device. She has since changed her mind and absolutely loves this little scooter. The scooter was very easy to assemble, just pop in the seat, attach front basket, and drop in the battery pack and you are ready to go. Make sure and do a full charge before using. Charging is easy with two different ports for connecting the charger; one on the battery pack, and one on the scooter wind screen. The front light and rear brake are great for safety in low light conditions. It has a horn, fully adjustable steering yoke, rear shock absorbers and no flat tires. The seat is very comfortable and adjustable. The scooter really handles well and the adjustable speed control is great for using indoors. Lastly, I’m 72 years old and have less than average strength, but I can still lift this scooter into the back of my car as long as I remove the seat, battery, and lower the steering yoke. All are very easy to do. I highly recommend this mobility scooter for its quality, comfort, and features. Excellent device!

I bought this for my dad after he started falling fairly frequently due to muscle loss and weakness. It has been a lifesaver for him. He's able to get the mail, go shopping, and enjoy his home and yard again. It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. The flagstick arrived broken, but he had no intention of using it anyway, so we didn't even mention it to the seller. Other than that tiny thing, it is perfect for him. He's six feet tall, and it accommodates his legs without forcing his knees to his chest. That was the main thing I was worried about, but it's adjustable for tall people. I have only charged it once since I bought it in July, and it's still going strong. The battery life is amazing. I was also impressed by its resistance to tipping over. His yard is so hard, bumpy, and uneven that everyone walks across it with their arms out for balance. Nevertheless, the mobility scooter gets him safely across. His grandson went on a joyride through his rugged backyard and took a sharp turn at top speed without turning over. It seems pretty safe and reliable. He's happy with it.

My mom and I take walks every night, but my dad has not been able to join due to his health. With this scooter, he can not only join us for the nightly walks but he has freedom to go around the neighborhood as he pleases. It's been great to see him get more fresh air and to win back some independence. The scooter was easy to assemble and can go very fast! It's not big, so there might be some concern about stability if you are heavy, but the small size also makes it very easy to maneuver. Great value given other scooters can cost 3x - 4x.

Due to my physical limitations, I mainly used scooter to take the dog on a 1.0 to 1.5 mile walk. Purchased because it advertised flat-free and "never runs out of air" tires. After about 1 year, I have had multiple tire problems. On two occasions, I have had flat tires. This scooter was a major disappointment. I would have been perfectly fine with purely rubber tires in order to avoid flats. Ability to assemble and fold mean nothing if the maneuverability is shot because the tire goes flat so often. Additionally, I am having a very difficult time finding all rubber 9 inch tires to replace the "flat-free" that came with the scooter. Unless I can find a replacement for the tire issue, this will be the worst scooter I've owned. I would have given a much higher rating if the following things happened: 1. PROVIDED tires as advertised 2. ALLOWED me to easily find replacement all rubber tires. Unfortunately, I've wasted a lot of money and me and our pet have to suffer.

Very happy with my scooter. Easily put the few pieces together. The battery is the heaviest thing on it. Followed instructions for charging and BAM we are scooting around. Goes great in my yard, down my gravel driveway and superb in department stores. Several speeds to choose from such as turtle to rabbit. Rabbit is very fast. Loving it. Thanks to my love for purchasing.

This scooter is a life-changer. A real Godsend! I have several underlying conditions which have affected my breathing, resulting in my gasping for breath walking even ten or twenty feet. Even doing basic activities like getting dressed. Bummer! So, I shopped online for about three months looking for the best buy, and this was/is it. This Metro Mobility Patriot Scooter is totally wonderful with features not found in ANY of the others in this general price range. The seat is thicker, the tiller is wide & has two cupholders plus a USB charger. AND, a really big plus, especially for uneven sometimes cracked urban sidewalks, has the biggest ground clearance in it's class of just under five inches. Plus it comes with a bonus U.S. flag & flag holder, AND it just looks good. It maneuvers crisply having a workable turning radius in tight spots. WINNER! This scooter has changed my life. I take it to the supermarket, and jus general getting around. I live at the beach & can now really enjoy the Beach again riding miles on the boardwalk. Last week I took a bus trip to Wind Creek Casino in Bethlehem, PA & the bus driver, with help from one other, just lifted the scooter in it's entirety into the under bus storage. I was able to maneuver with ease, not only the casino, but the adjacent outlet mall as well. Things I wasn't able to do before without constantly stopping to catch my breath. Like I said, A LIFE CHANGING GODSEND! Don't hesitate, buy it!
