It's a real nice scooter and well built. The scooter is constructed really well. It goes 28mph and battery seems to last forever. I did my research on many scooters before I bought the engwe y600 and this engwe has the best battery. I like the seat, the seat is comfortable and I like the foot stop for if you want to take the seat off. I took the whole scooter apart, took the battery out, the controller and it's all well built with new parts. There lots and lots of wires. The turn signals are cool, the horns annoying, but the lighting system is good. I kind of would like the headlight up higher and it takes a long time to fully charge but it's one of the best scooters out there for the price. It rides smooth. I had I tire blow already and it's a pain to change the inner tube. Also if you buy your going to need a signature for when they deliver the scooter which sucked. I work afternoons so I had to go without sleep for 2 days so I could sign for the package. Don't hesitate to buy this scooter, you will enjoy it. I seen some reviews with people upset about it not going 28mph and that's because of the factory speed limiter. **To unlock the speed** 1. Hold the left brake down first 2. Then turn on the key 3. Push the red mode button until the LCD screen comes on 4. Pull down on the accelerator 3 times 5. Enjoy the max speed of 47kmh or 28mph 6. Paranoid about leaving any scooter charge with out my awareness. But maybe that's just me. I'm on the lighter side at 124lbs and get up to 28 mph on full charge and slowly decrease as it loses charge. Mine squeaks around the locking mechanism in the front, but not concerned about it. Not concerned about it I've had it for a month now it was a bit annoying at first, but don't mind it now it's also gotten quieter, or maybe the wind blares it out. I actually prefer riding it with the seat. When I want I flip the seat up and put my feet parallel at 45° to the right semi skateboard position. Honestly feels better and more secure that way I can bend the knees when needed, feeling more safe to me. Idk why people say to pot your feet one in front of the other so narrowly. I think it might feel less natural, but that's me. ... show more

I really enjoyed how safe this scooter is. The quality of their scooter is honestly good. However when riding the scooter, the front of it starts to make rubbery squeaking noises. If I could get help on how to fix that it would be amazing. Otherwise it's functionally alright.

First and foremost, I had an issue regarding the folding mechanism of the scooter. Put simply, the mechanism was put on way too tightly and does not allow the scooter to fold as intended. I had this concern addressed here on Amazon with a partial refund, but the annoyance that this causes me still persists. I thought that riding the machine would cause this mechanism to loosen up a bit, but it still does not fold as intended. On my first ride with it, it rode great. No issues at all, everything worked as intended. I was extremely happy with the product. Now, I am faced with the current issue. On my second ride with the scooter, the scooter began to constantly stall out at a mere 8km/h (5mph), showing a caution sign on the speedometer. This stalling out took place on a major road and almost caused me to lose control of the scooter, jeopardizing my safety in the process. This is completely unacceptable from a scooter this early in it's lifespan. Now, the scooter is extremely loud, feels like it is working excessively hard to move, and the acceleration is far from the responsive experience I got in my first ride. Additionally, when attempting to push the scooter, it feels like it is dragging. I suspect this may be an issue with the transmission of the e-scooter, but I'm not sure. This has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. At the time of writing this review, I have emailed ENGWE to demand prompt action to rectify this situation. I am requesting that they either assist me in getting the scooter fixed, cover the costs of repair, or provide a full refund for this faulty product. I will not settle for anything less than proper assistance in resolving this issue: this many numerous issues after only two weeks is absolutely unacceptable. Needless to say, I cannot recommend this product at this time. Do not waste your money or jeopardize your safety with this brand. ... show more

This scooter is a great price for everything you get. Not only is the scooter build very well, it boasts speeds and suspension that you would find on a unit that is twice this price. A powerful headlight and responsive brakes give me more peace of mind riding, especially around public roads with the potential for heavier traffic. The addition of a seat was one of the primary reasons I went with this model. If I have a longer ride then the seat comes in handy, and when I don't want the seat I can easily remove it. Charge of the scooter is also very quick. Overall, I would highly recommend to anymore looking for a reliable, feature packed scooter. ... show more
