I needed an unlocked hotspot and selected this one as it looked well built and a larger battery Spec says UNLOCKED It did not work with any SIM i inserted, tried 3 carriers and the display said no SIM every time.

The media could not be loaded. This hotspot works perfectly for travel and remote work. The connection is stable and fast, even with multiple devices connected. Setup was quick and easy, and the battery lasts long enough for a full day of use. Definitely worth it if you need reliable internet on the go!

This portable hotspot is really cool because it allows my husband and I to use it when our WiFi in the home goes on the fritz, or when we travel of course. It doesn’t have the fastest internet but it does I like the slender sleek look and feel of it. It’s compact in size (just under palm size); of course that feels ideal. The back casing was not exactly easy to remove with just my fingers but, with a pair of scissors, I popped it open. So, You may need to keep a utensil near to assist you any time out want to open the back. The only reason I’ve given it a 4 is because I haven’t had it long enough to know the shelf life on it or if it will given out on me for some reason. However it comes with a company issued warranty and that is something I appreciate.

I really wanted to like this device, considering the price and look and feel. Love the rubberish back panel to prevent slipping out of hand or off the table. However, I tried 3 different sim cards and none of them worked with the device. I would recommend the seller be more specific with which sim card brands will work with this device. Also, a little inconvenient that there is no sim card slot; you have to take off the cover and take out the battery to switch sim cards. I'd say I know the price is hard to resist, but be cautious knowing which sim cards can be used before purchasing.

THIS DOES NOT WORK IF YOU HAVE VERIZON. I called directly to that dept and with the ein # off the device, Verizon recognizes it as a smart watch. To use it would only be on prepaid which is 5x the cost Immediate return - waste of a lot of time.
