I was very nervous about purchasing due to the lack of reviews, but I’m glad I did. Let’s go over a few things. 1. Shipping: I have amazon prime so it came in two days, even on a Sunday ! Which I was surprised about because usually if you order on a Friday it’ll come the following Monday or Tuesday. 2. Packaging: I’ll update this review with pictures of the packaging if I can find but it came in this super cute box and looked very neat and professional. 3. THE LACE: I made the mistake of purchasing the light brown lace, so it was darker than my skin tone. In future I will get the regular option it automatically goes with. But After I bleached the knots and added my foundation, it was fine. I also made the mistake of cutting the lace when it was off my head, so it ended up being a little tight, but again my mistake and it worked out. Luckily, the price is good enough that I can purchase another one in a few weeks and use what I learned to install it a little better. 4. THE HAIR: Yas, THE HAIR ! I was genuinely surprised at how high the quality of hair was! It was soft, shiny, and lightweight even after I bleached the knots. I blow dryed the hair and styled it with a curling iron and there was no burning, and it held the style extremely well. For future, I’ll use some curling rods and leave it over night instead of curling iron just so as to not damage the hair. 5. SHEDDING: Shedding on this hair was a lot at first. Mostly because I plucked the hair line, bleached the knots, and cut to my liking, so I wasn’t surprised. After all that was done and I finally styled it and had it how I wanted it, it was fine. Some light shedding after I’d brush it at the end of the night but nothing I wouldn’t find typically in my own hair. 6. DENSITY: I don’t remember if it was an option or it just comes automatically but my hair was 150% density. This is definitely a good amount of hair for me. My natural hair is EXTREMELY thick so this was a relief for me without feeling like I was bald headed. Definitely a good amount to run your fingers through, I wouldn’t go any less. 7. LONGEVITY: I did the bald cap method and was able to sleep in the hair for 4 days before I got tired of having something on my head. I took off the bald cap and the next day wore it directly on top of my braids with nothing but the got-to-be glue on the lace to hold it down. I also want to mention that I took off the clips and just sewed the back to my braids on the original install because I knew I was going to be doing outdoor activities. Ya girl was out here hiking, fishing, and kayaking and this wig didn’t budge; again, mostly due to how I installed. It was fine after I took out the sewin and just had the glue on the lace as well, but the back started lifting, again probably because I cut the lace too close and it became a bit small for my head, but it was fine. After about 8-9 days of use this Thanksgiving break, the hair it still holding on but definitely needed a wash due to the amount of product in it. I was worried that it would just shrivel up and die when I washed it but it definitely bounced back ! It’s fresh and ready to be styled again. I’m thinking of bleaching the ends and giving more of an ombré look because this wig is definitely Jet Black and ya girl is pale as hell this winter season. Will update if I do!

This wig is really soft and pretty I love the color . I feel like the density is around 180 not 210 but I don’t mind .I had my wig professionally installed and the stylist liked the unit and the lace all she did pluck the lace and add layers . I have only had it in for 3 day but so far so good , I order 22inches.

This was the worse wig I ever ordered. The advertisement for this wig totally incorrect and mis leading. First off it no where near the color natural black. It’s brown. Second, it has a permanent part in the middle so you can not wear it multiple ways without parting. It also lacks neatness in the way it cut. I actually thought I recv a used wig by the looks of it when it first arrived. But the worse of all was customer service. On the Amazon website it clearly sold by Arabella. When you go to contact the seller it brings you right to the Arabella website. You will be able to send them an email. However I did this and got a response saying ..oh you bought this off Amazon…contact ashleywigs.com. Emailed them and no response. I ended up returning. Amazon refused to help in this so if you get a shotty wig, beware that you may be stuck with it. It seems odd to me that I was directed to the sellers website but told to contact someone else? Yea, Arabella is a hard pass to me.

The unit is not “big head friendly” and is not as long as advertised. It’s supposed to be 22 inches but seems more like 18. The lace also is not ideal for darker skin tones. Otherwise the hair is nice It smells like a normal new bundle would and the texture and color was very natural. It has a nice density. The way it’s sewn in the back made me concern it was tangle a lot but who knows. I’d try a longer version and just cut the lace or a version with a bang. I just didn’t like the length for this one and worry about it not having more than one comb to stay out so I’ll be adding some if I buy another wig from them.

Soft and silky especially after first wash Very nice lace True to length Density seems accurate Fits a large head Didn't need to bleach Doesn't give body wave, it dries straight except for the ends Lot of short hairs but it's expected with the price. Just annoying that it's on the closure, so it's hard to get those flyaways down, might have to pluck those out It did shed moderately especially on the wash and I could see pieces that were clumped together to create the length for cheap Very good for $220 Update: the short hairs are getting insane..

I absolutely love this unit. Most wigs usually are big on my head but this one fits perfectly, I didn’t have to bleach the knots or do too much plucking and the lace melts to perfection. Hair is very soft and good quality no matting or tangles and minimum shedding while combing through, curls and styles good. Highly recommend this brand this is my new go to brand.
