I was in the market for a spotting scope after getting more into birding and wanted to find one with greater than the 60x magnification offered by most. I'd never heard of the brand but decided to take the chance and I'm glad I did. Focus is smooth and fast. No chromatic abberation, even at distance. And the magnification! Does that extra 15 magnification make a difference looking at waterfowl and shorebirds way, way out there? You bet it does. There is a price to be paid in terms of light at maximum zoom if it's an overcast day but I'm not complaining. I have used Swarovski and other scopes and would still pick this one. Dollar for dollar, it's the best scope you can buy for the purpose, IMO. I was confident enough in the brand to buy their also excellent Frontier APO 10x binoculars. The included case is really nice. The only minor gripe I have concerns the lens covers, which are not attached and feel like an afterthought. I don't use them anyway. I eventually lost the eye ring, probably due to taking a digiscope adapter on and off so many times. Called the company and they just sent me a new one. Their customer service is as good as the scope. Nice people who really know their products. Worth every penny.

The Endurance 25-75x85 is simply the best value, bang-for-the-buck, spotting scope you can buy in my opinion. Have a HD Razor and the image clarity is just as good. Chromatic aberration at all zoom settings is minimal to non-existent; I was hard pressed to get CA on all-white objects at any distance. Focus is easy to use, and good out to 3+ miles though being in AZ I get quite a bit of heat mirage - nothing can save you from that. Have not tested low-light gathering so cannot comment on how good/bad it is. Will be using for spotting on Coues and elk hunts, though may not pack it in every single day as it is quite large/heavy, but for day-long pre-hunt scouting trips or in-and-out 1-day trips when your pack is light this thing is amazing. One gripe - the front lens cover is rubber and if you're not careful it'll pop off and since not connected...you could lose it. The carrying case is amazing. The mount is sturdy and well designed with multiple 1/4-20 females. The rotational lock is nice, though i don't think I'll be using it often so locked it out and capped it with the rubber cap Hawke provides. The eyepiece is quite nice and can be adjusted in-out to suit your needs. All in all, not disappointed, pleasantly surprised, and completely satisfied; I highly recommend.

Like all the comments, when switching from 25x to high magnification, there will be a glass shadow approaching that affects vision. The overall packaging is okay, but the outer packaging box of the packaging box is relatively large, which will affect the internal telescope packaging box. Shaking, there is no shaking foam or bubble bag to fix the inner packaging box, and the packaging box of the product is not fixed. The ATHLON 20-60*85 I bought before does not seem to have a particularly sharp feeling. The product can be used.

Product arrived with a defective focus micro-adjustment. The macro-adjustment worked fine, but the micro would spin freely and not change focus. I returned the item, but the seller charged a 50% "restocking fee" and I only received half the refund. Terrible customer experience, and it looks like they intend to sell the same defective scope to someone else.

This is definitely the one of, if not the best spotting scope in this price range. The optics are amazingly clear even at maximum magnification, no fringing or chromatic abberation. Works well for lunar and still photography if you get the appropriate adapter for your camera. I could not be more pleased with this spotting scope, I love it.

Although I was unfamiliar with the Hawke brand, I decided to try this scope. First impressions were that the build quality is very good, and the case is very handy. I also love the course/fine focus knobs and this really helps to bring the image into focus. I tested the scope multiple times by itself and against the well-known (and expensive) Kowa TSN-773, 25-60x. At long distance viewing (3/4 mile), the Kowa was just a bit sharper however the difference was barely significant. I kept the Hawke and have no regrets. For a test, I looked across a lake (3/4 mile away) and could read a boat registration number on the side of a boat (lettering is 2" or 3" tall). Similarly, viewing the moon is absolutely amazing- the crater details are spectacular! In every way, this scope exceeded my expectations. For the cost, this scope is simply amazing and I am really happy with this purchase. Excellent product, Hawke! UPDATE (5/21/23): I purchased the Digi-scope adapter and Canon T2 adapter (both made by Hawke for this specific model scope) and connected to my Canon 7D DSLR. I was disappointed in the image quality- just could not get sharp images and they had a lot of chromatic aberration. Although disappointing, I still love the scope- it is amazing.
