Best purchase if you are on your feet long days. Cost more than most would like to spend. Very comfortable and durable so far. They seem to run small. Had to return my first pair and go a full size under what i normally buy.

One thing I’ve noticed with pull on work boots is that none seem to fit right. I have exotic cowboy boots that fix great but couldn’t find a safety toe boot to save my life I was skeptical on theses for the price but with the try before you buy, why not.. first day they were stiff felt a bit of heel lift. Day 2 the soles started to flex a bit and then it was normal heel slip I run heavy equipment so I don’t do I ton of walking but these are extremely comfortable and if they last even at this price I’ll buy again! If something drastically goes wrong I’ll update this review also knowing you can get a replacement BOA kit makes me feel a lot better about this purchase..

I am an oil field worker, used pull on boots pretty much my entire career, until recently our health-safety-environmental department made it mandatory to wear boots with some type of fastening system. I absolutely hated using laced or other easy-tie (similar to these) boots with exposed fasteners, because I couldn't tuck my pants in, and the laces or the tie strings would get dirty and will be a hassle to clean. Pros: These are functionally similar to pull on western boots. I can tuck my pants in and clean them up with a quick hose down or a wet wipe. Glad to have my old life back! Very comfortable for all day use. Been getting lots of queries since I started wearing them. Looks like Ariat just opened up a huge market with this design. Cons: I was expecting to fool my HSE supe, and use these boots like regular pull on boots, without ever using the laces. That's not possible. These have more room around ankle (compared to Ariat's U-turn entry system boots- Workhog), which makes it uncomfortable to walk without fastening laces. The main problem are the crank knobs. They are right where I seem to rub my boots when climbing down the stairs. The side welts around the cuffs of these boots flare out more than regular western boots, which makes the problem worse. As you can see in the picture, I already knocked off the lid (thank god only cosmetic) off of the left one, and the right one got scuffed up pretty bad within the first day. @Ariat, can you send me a replacement cover for the left shoe? I will be happy to pay :) Update: Ariat promptly mailed be free replacements for the cranks. Great customer service from them. All I had to do is get in touch, send a picture of the broken cranks. Took only 2 emails.

I’ve had these boots for over a year now. It is amazing that they have lasted, most don’t. I work in a salvage yard and it is hell on boots. These are the best fitting pull ons I have owned, even without the boa tight. With the boa tight I can sprint in these things. Too bad one boa failed 8 months in, the plastic coating on the cable frayed and the knob broke on my 2nd repair attempt. Very little heel wear even without it. Had the outsole break on the instep of both boots very early on but no issues. Probably from climbing in and out of equipment. Really want to give them 5 stars, but one boa failed and $300 is a lot of money.

They have a great fit no matter what around the ankle with the boa. Locked in when you need it and relaxed when you want at a click of a button. I work on robots and have to climb on odd things and these boots leave me sure footed without hurting the top of my foot. The tightening system only tightens around the upper to mid ankle and the insoles are swappable to allow for a more arch supporting insole. My last shoes supported my arches some but only if I cinched down the top of foot laces. After all day those left me in pain and these leave me feeling like a fresh cowboy after a hard days work without the achy feet.

To begin, Im a welder and i have an issue getting more spatter burning through my pants because the neck is so big. The boa system broke in one boot within a year. Also awkard for tighter pants going over the knob on the back. Otherwise, most comfortable boots ive owned.
