When I came across this lamp, I knew it was the one. I actually ordered two of the brown 63” lantern style lamps; one for each side of my sofa. I have to say, they look phenomenal in person, and extremely accurate to the photos. Assembly took mere minutes, and everything was well packaged. I LOVE that these are on a dimmer. Some people have complained about not being able to hide the cord, but it comes with a plastic ring/cord hook. Might be worthy to purchase a set of these separately so the cord can ride the lamp leg, but the cord doesn’t bother me. I just hid it with plants. My biggest complaint is that the lamp mechanism isn’t strong enough to really point it upward, but it pivots, and that’s cool. The legs do wobble a bit, but sturdy enough to still love it. The sticker on the inside of the lamp leaves residue, so have some gunk-remover on hand. The lamp shades were in pretty good condition, but I did notice a few marks/scratches. Not big enough of a deal for me to return. One of the legs, however , was already chipped. Again, not a big enough deal; just made it face a wall I adore the built in table (now plant stand), which gives the whole lamp a chic look, and it contributes to its stability. Overall, super satisfied with this purchase. Will update if I feel the need, but absolutely love these on day 1! ... show more

    • Hard to put together!

Finished lamp looks great, but it was less than simple to assemble. Shade went together nicely. Legs went together just fine. But attaching the legs to the cylindrical light piece was not easy. The screws provided were not long enough to attach to the leg from within the countersunk holes in the legs. We had to countersink the holes more to which we pushed all the way through by accident on one leg. That leg is GLUED to the base. Hope we never have to take it apart. And the wood hole covers for these holes are too small. They just fall right in. I think we’ve hidden the mistakes enough to make it work. Also, you gotta be creative in hiding the electrical cord, it’s designed to just hang right down the middle which looks weird. ... show more

This lamp is beautiful and stylish. The wood is very nice and the shade looks great too. It was fairly easy to put together. The shade went on the hoops easily and wasn't dented. We did have a problem with the wooden discs that are supposed to cover the screw holes. They were all too small and pushed way too far into the screw holes or were loose and fell out. I managed to make the screw holes of 2 of the legs look presentable and the remaining leg I oriented toward the back so it's not noticable. I followed the directions in the remote pairing video and it worked righted away. The cord does look a little weird and can't be hidden as well as I thought it would be, but overall I'm very happy with the lamp. Only other thing I'd change is make the bulb waaaaay brighter. Even on the brightest setting it's not as bright as I'd like. ... show more

The lamp looks good, good value for money but need 2 people to assemble - a second pair of hands to hold the legs when adding the shelf in the middle. The shade is a bit flimsy but the price justifies the quality. Overall would recommend.

I like the lamp and will keep it, but I had to run to Home Depot to get replacement screws for the top portion because the wood was inverted and the screws did not reach the legs since the countersunk was on wrong side. It was impossible to disassemble and turn around without damaging the piece. Update - the company contacted me and offered to send a replacement part. I declined but they paid for the new screws. I have to give Customer Service 5 stars for working with me! ... show more

This is a great, beautiful piece.. easy to put together. My only complaint is, we put the whole lamp together, and we are missing the clamp that connects the shade to the lamp.
