I couldn’t force myself to spend the money on these, so my husband got them for me for my birthday. These are amazing….I should have just coughed up the dough. They are soft, thick enough to be warm (so not see through) shaping and long. I’m 5’7 about 146 lbs and bought a small. I have my little mom pouch and these come up just high enough to cover all that, just above my navel, but not too high where they roll or slip. Just as a disclaimer, no they don’t slide right on since they are still shapewear, but you won’t be sorry for the spend. Hope this helps!

These leggings were what I wanted. They fit well and are slimming. I purchased another brand that starts with an L for much more. To me, these seemed like higher quality and fit well for a little less.

these are my favorite leggings. They don't pinch at the waste nor bag at the knees. Issues I'd had with other leggings. I like the seam on the side. It's a nice decorative element.

This was the first time I’ve spent over $60 on a pair of leggings. I wanted something that shaped my rear, held in my tummy, and fit me well in the legs. The coverage is fully opaque, so you can’t see through them which is nice. The fabric just isn’t buttery or as stretchy as I expected for the price. Plus, these roll down on the tummy which drives me bananas. I would say unless you’re breaking out big money for Lulu’s, go with Colorfukola over these- they are cheaper and shape the rear more nicely.

I've been wanting to try Spanx leggings for a while now but the price has always been a barrier. Finally decided to join the legions of fans based on all the 5 star reviews. Sadly, I will be returning these ... For reference I'm more pear shaped (carry weight in my tummy), 5' 5" and weigh 130lbs and got size small. When I put them on, the top of the waist band was strangely loose (lack of compression) and the compression around my lower stomach and butt was not very impressive. Having said that, it did make my butt look almost flat (very unflattering) and not enough compression on my stomach, so my butt was flatter than my stomach ... on side profile, I looked back to front LOL, not a good look. The fabric, while being stretchy isn't as thick as some of my other cheaper leggings. Overall I was really disappointed with these leggings as they didn't live up to the hype I'd expected and they are over priced. They're more like those opaque thick stretchy tights you can get from Hue. In comparison another pair of much cheaper leggings I purchased on Amazon fit me better, have greater compression on my tummy area (without making my butt look flat) and the fabric is stretchy, but nice and thick. The waist band doesn't roll down when I move and/or sit either. I've worn them regularly, washed them a lot and they still look and feel great. Oh yeah and it has pockets, which I love for my cell phone. I tried both the spanx leggings and these leggings on as comparison, and the cheaper leggings I got in x-small were much more flattering. (I'm reviewing right after receiving these, so how they wash and wear over time is not part of the rating.) Color: I purchased both heather gray and black. The gray is a really nice rich shade, the heather not too varied in threads that it has that more marbled --and less slimming, to my perception-- appearance. The black is a nice matte black. (I have several of the "Assets by Spanx" black leggings from Target, which are a much nicer price, but the fabric is somewhat shiny and I wanted matte. If you don't mind a little shine, the Assets are very similar in all other ways, so I also recommend those!) Fabric: Thick enough to be totally opaque, without feeling quite like a ponte. I wouldn't wear these in warm weather, but they'll be great for winter. Fit: Nice medium-firm compression throughout, without additional panels or compression on any part. Because of the compression fabric, they obviously have a fit that is closer to tights than skinny pants. Also probably obvious, but confirmed: if your measurements have you all over the sizing charts like mine do, you can confidently order to fit your largest measurement, and the other areas will pull in to wherever they need to be. At the same time there is a lot of stretch in the fabric. They looked so short out of the package that I was sure they'd sent capri instead! But nope, they were long enough for my 5'9" proportioned legs. They seem like they will hold their shape... hoping they do. Also hoping at this price point that they last for years and years and years. Final mention: they are called "seamless." There are, however, two seams down the outside of each leg. I don't care for this, as I'm wearing these under long tunics/ short dresses so did not want a "workout" look. As seaming on leggings goes, though, it's not too bad.
