Works as advertised, filter light resets correctly. There is a correct way to put this in, if you put it in the wrong way the filter light will not reset. There is a sticker on it, that says if you can read me you have the filter in wrong!     • Defective Filter
We've purchased this filter in the past and it worked fine (even after the filter style/size changed). However, the last 2 filters we purchased were defective. We installed the first filter and it leaked between the filter head and the filter cartridge. We purchased another filter thinking it would be better and it did the exact same thing. We called Elkay and they suggested we replace the filter head. We took their advice and replaced the filter head. This cost an additional $50.00. Unfortunately, the filter CONTINUED to leak. Fortunately we'd saved the old filter and re installed it. It did not leak. So, we called Elkay again, and explained the situation. They sent us a filter direct from Elkay and it does NOT leak. The 'Elkay Store' on Amazon does not appear to be selling genuine filter or filters that are the same quality. I suggest that anyone that buys this filter off of Amazon, leave the front plate of the water filter station off to insure the filter is not dripping/leaking. This has been a real hassle for us. Amazon needs to step up their game. I would be hesitant to purchase anything from the 'Elkay Store' again as it appears to be poor quality now. ... show more

Couldn’t get the filter light to turn off after installing this filter. Called Elkay directly and they said this is a fraudulent filter - if you buy from Elkay directly there’s a computer chip that the dispenser can read (which this fraudulent filter off Amazon doesn’t have). Careful, this unfortunately is a waste of money! ... show more
