Easy to put together. Light weight so no problem moving it around. The main issue I have is the opening for leave mulching is small and you have to push the leaves into the opening. It took longer than I would like but did mulch the oak tree leaves which have always been tough. It did reduce the yard bags need for the area.

This electric wood chipper works great for cutting up twigs and branches (it can handle branches about 1 and 1/2 inches thick). I also tested it on leafs and it worked similarly great. The output after cutting is really fine particulate versus wood chips and the included bag makes collecting and dumping the mulch easy. The chipper is extremely light, I actually had problems rolling it on the grass as it kept tipping over as I was pushing it. Honestly, it's so light it's easier just to pick it up and carry it to where it needs to be. I thought I would try to throw some curveballs at the chipper with some branches that were weirdly shaped, but it chipped it away with ease. Most of the time using it is easy, it will grab branches once inserted and chip them. Sometimes however twigs don't go down as easily, so they include a little plunger to push them inside the chipper. As I mentioned the chipper is very light, but it's also fairly compact and small, taking up less space than a power washer or lawn mower. My only complaint I have is the bag does not fit on the chipper as shown in the picture. It juts out at an angle, causing some debris to fall out the back when chipping. This really isn't too big of a deal, it just makes the unit look a little awkward. Overall, I'm very impressed with this chipper and it worked great for cleaning up a pile of branches and twigs I had collected after mowing the yard.

You'll have a lot of trouble with this; it clogs easily, and it isn't easy to take apart to unclog. I'm returning it for a refund. It's not what I consider worth the cost of the product.

This is mostly for small branches. The leaf thing is really time consuming. It’s not like a lot of leaves go thru this at once. It’s lengthy process.

Not really a mulcher but it is great for small branches. We have too many leaves and too little time to mulch our leaves using this shredder. The opening is so small and you have to constantly push the leaves. My husband gave up after an hour. He did have fun chipping the small branches that littered our yard. That went so much faster! So if you are buying this to mulch leaves-please consider continuing your shopping. It is really good at shredding small branches and does that well. We will keep it for that but alas-we ended up putting our leaves on the street for county trucks to vacuum up.

This works well with dry wood and leaves. If damp or wet, it clogs and you have to clear by hand. We still like it and use it but dry material out first

We were able to assemble this wood chipper in about ten minutes and begin using it right away! Living in the woods means we always have branches on hand, so this wood chipper is a marvelous way to make use of them for mulch. The wood chipper makes quick work of the branches turning them into beautiful, useful wood chips. The wood chipper is easy to use but is loud, so you’ll probably want to wear ear plugs. As the chipper works, the chips are distributed into the removable bag. There is a paddle included to help press the branches in. Branches up to 1.75” in diameter can be fed into the chipper. The chipper is lightweight and has wheels making it easy to transport and store. So far, we have been very pleased with the efficiency of this item—it will be very beneficial to us.
